Although he sometimes make it seem as though he is trying to do that, neither he nor any one person can do so. He merely notifies people of breakage in these cases. (I will skip all the work he does on the ports infrastructure and base system performance, for which, see other threads). He has sent literally thousands of these emails; someone else will need to pick up this particular problem and work on it. mcl
