Disabling these tests can speed build time and reduce disk space considerably [1] Most users don't need these tests built unless they plan on helping debug and patch the mozilla source. I think we should add it to MOZ_OPTIONS in www/firefox3. If it exists for firefox2 I propose adding it to firefox2 as well (especially since firefox2 is going to be EOL soon). I'm running the GENERIC kernel. I can type into the address and search bars but when I hit enter nothing happens. It's as if the enter key (including the one on the numeric keypad) isn't being recognized. This only happens when in the address and search bars. If I click on the home page icon and go to the Mozilla Firefox Start Page=2C I can type into the HTML search form on that page and the enter key works. I also have this problem when I build firefox-3.0.5=2C1 from ports. This is not a problem with firefox-2.0.0.18=2C1 installed from packages. _________________________________________________________________ Life on your PC is safer=2C easier=2C and more enjoyable with Windows Vista= =AE.=20 http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/127032870/direct/01/= From owner-freebsd-gnome@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Dec 24 18:52:46 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: gnome@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 32B401065670; Wed, 24 Dec 2008 18:52:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from mezz7@cox.net) Received: from eastrmmtao104.cox.net (eastrmmtao104.cox.net [68.230.240.46]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8AD728FC12; Wed, 24 Dec 2008 18:52:45 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from mezz7@cox.net) Received: from eastrmimpo01.cox.net ([68.1.16.119]) by eastrmmtao104.cox.net (InterMail vM.7.08.02.01 201-2186-121-102-20070209) with ESMTP id <20081224185246.XKFN27943.eastrmmtao104.cox.net@eastrmimpo01.cox.net>; Wed, 24 Dec 2008 13:52:46 -0500 Received: from localhost ([68.103.159.188]) by eastrmimpo01.cox.net with bizsmtp id v6sk1a00B44AlM8026skxg; Wed, 24 Dec 2008 13:52:45 -0500 X-Authority-Analysis: v=1.0 c=1 a=Q0ZXr6E5RMoA:10 a=ojHv2NqVZawA:10 a=6I5d2MoRAAAA:8 a=wgp0jHu6UkVZSx2EVbAA:9 a=gtJFZH4qgdf_soANJToA:7 a=nnVFoV9nyYf-XNxdagn8fStk_S4A:4 a=SV7veod9ZcQA:10 a=4vB-4DCPJfMA:10 a=LY0hPdMaydYA:10 X-CM-Score: 0.00 Date: Wed, 24 Dec 2008 12:52:29 -0600 To: "Bruce M. I have went to http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/ and I can't reproduce it. It prints fine, but it does not print image in middle that has lizard or some kind of repitle. Maybe it's normal as it's different from Opera. But both Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 show the same result. Are your Firefox 3 in non-english (custom LANG/locale)? Mine locale looks like this: --------------------------- # locale LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8" LC_ALL= --------------------------- Are you using gutenprint? I don't know if it has to do with gutenprint update has to do with it. I only have updated gutenprint-base and gutenprint-cups in case if you want to give it a shot. I do not think it will changing your result since print works in your Firefox 2, but never know. http://people.freebsd.org/~mezz/diff/gutenprint-base.diff http://people.freebsd.org/~mezz/diff/gutenprint-case.diff BTW: Forgot to say, I am using MarcusCom CVS that has newer GTK+, GNOME, cairo and stuff. Beyond that limit, files will be polled. If you often open several large folders with Nautilus, you might want to increase the kern.maxfiles tunable (you do not need to set kern.maxfilesperproc, since it is computed at boot time from kern.maxfiles). CORE Security Technologies reports:

A format string error has been found on the vinagre_utils_show_error() function that can be exploited via commands issued from a malicious server containing format string specifiers on the VNC name.

In a web based attack scenario, the user would be required to connect to a malicious server. Successful exploitation would then allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the Vinagre user.
