Hello I looked at the archives and the FAQ, but didn't find a solution: Using a 7.0 boot CD, FreeBSD gets stuck right after this message trying to install itself on a 80GB Hitachi Deskstart IDE drive: hptrr: no controller detected md0: Preloaded image </boot/mfsroot> ... bytes at 0x... I can successfully run and install FreeBSD 6.2 on the same host/hard-disk. Any idea what could cause this? Thank you.
