I have sent an email to freebsd-hubs. But CTM is not going to be working until I get this fixed. I did a google, and found out that someone had had this problem in Jan 2008 http://www.nabble.com/Problems-with-cvsup-td15109672.html, and had conveniently explained the work around. It seems that my computer has problems CVSUPing any new stuff that includes the word "irc." Perhaps the University of Missouri is trying to stop downloading of IRC clients, who knows? I'm going to apply the work around - I hope it works.
