No idea, sorry. Hardware monitoring is a totally different issue. Do you know what monitoring chip you have got? Do you know whether it's on SMBus or on LPC or something else (like HECI)? With patch in place it appears that the READ_BIG error message pops up much less during use of the CDROM drive, but the main concern, sluggish performance, is very much still present.
