So you'll get portions that fail to apply to 7.2p2. I would suggest updating to a newer version of RELENG_7. If the patch doesn't apply to that, I can regenerate another patch against the latest RELENG_7. Have you tried applying the current patch to a recent RELENG_7? None of the files that patch affects have changed since the patch was generated.
