In = an effort to diversify our presence and better cope with geographic = network issues, we're looking to place a single 1U server in another = tier 1 data center anywhere other than Verio (which is our colo now), = ideally outside of California. We get great service from Verio but we = need maximum redundancy that can most easily be had through a different = network/geographic area. We would like to do a space trade with another ISP/data center. Anyone = out there who might be interested in a swap like this? Feel free to check out our website at http://www.ouido.net Thanks, Daniel -- daniel duerr | president | ouido.net Managed hosting services for Business From owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG Fri Jul 2 19:03:10 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 91658106564A for ; Fri, 2 Jul 2010 19:03:10 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from jdixon@omniti.com) Received: from edge.omniti.com (smtp.omniti.com [8.8.38.6]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 56C5C8FC0A for ; Fri, 2 Jul 2010 19:03:05 +0000 (UTC) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; d=omniti.com; s=s1024; c=relaxed/relaxed; q=dns/txt; i=@omniti.com; t=1278096036; h=From:Subject:Date:To; bh=5mW/o0Yolk6i0ziVhBG6Cou4Hi1vnQwwKX1QuEi5AVE=; b=rGkbQSORyMl4cYz+vgsb6PoRkK3czPO53C8MeS5NJgZXfGC4ea9x+stLWOYuFo2e WudI95ZFcKRrsZA5iSz0gaYx0mtp0u481irlZ0EbZATHlYXxLLFS2kXsjjC08kVb rSvrkZ+L/9N1bTdRN3N/1pRNRAnRTmd39nQe07dwlW8=; Authentication-Results: edge smtp.user=jdixon@omniti.com; auth=pass (LOGIN) Received: from [68.55.0.29] ([68.55.0.29:55981] helo=omniti.com) by edge (envelope-from ) (ecelerity 2.2.2.35 r(26636M)) with ESMTPSA (cipher=AES256-SHA) id B2/88-17327-4A23E2C4; Fri, 02 Jul 2010 14:40:36 -0400 Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2010 14:40:32 -0400 From: Jason Dixon To: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org Message-ID: <20100702184032.GA29381@omniti.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.18 (2008-05-17) Subject: CFP for Surge Scalability Conference 2010 X-BeenThere: freebsd-isp@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Internet Services Providers List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 02 Jul 2010 19:03:10 -0000 A quick reminder that there's one week left to submit your abstract for this year's Surge Scalability Conference. The event is taking place on Sept 30 and Oct 1, 2010 in Baltimore, MD. Surge focuses on case studies that address production failures and the re-engineering efforts that led to victory in Web Applications or Internet Architectures. Our Keynote speakers include John Allspaw and Theo Schlossnagle. We are currently accepting submissions for the Call For Papers through July 9th. You can find more information, including suggested topics and our current list of speakers, online: http://omniti.com/surge/2010 I'd also like to urge folks who are planning to attend, to get your session passes sooner rather than later. We have limited seating and we are on track to sell out early. For more information, including the CFP, sponsorship of the event, or participating as an exhibitor, please visit the Surge website or contact us at surge@omniti.com.
