Bye, ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "C. Aliante" <caliante2008@gmail.com> Date: Sun, 14 Nov 2010 14:46:09 +0100 Subject: Moonlight errors To: mono@freebsd.org Hi :-) I installed Moonlight as a package (it installed really a ton of dependencies, that surprised me). As I could'nt install the plugin in Firefox (see below), I portupgraded all packages to the latest versions. This went wrong: As per the instruction during the building: "ERROR: The "libmoonplugin-ff3bridge.so" in WEBPLUGINS_FILES is either a typo or no longer exists. Please make a bug report to mono@FreeBSD.org (maintainer)." I am informing you of this :-) In addition, installing the Firefox plugin from with Firefox also generates an error: "Novell moonlight could not be installed because it is not compatible with your Firefox build type (FreeBSD_x86-gcc3)" I have added my experiences to this thread: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=110040 Would you happen to have a clue as to how to fix this? Thanks in advance for the port in the first place, and thanks for any suggestions :-) Bye,
