I believe that it should be a symlink to ${LOCALBASE}/openoffice.org-3.2.0/openoffice.org3/program/spadmin which is the actual openoffice.org printer configuration program which, for example, allows to select which of the printers is to be used as a default one. P.S. It seems openoffice.org 3 ignores default printer setting made in KDE3 Control Center and uses its own setting. -- Andriy Gapon From owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Apr 8 15:04:18 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A7D86106566C; Thu, 8 Apr 2010 15:04:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from srandall52@gmail.com) Received: from mail-yx0-f175.google.com (mail-yx0-f175.google.com [209.85.210.175]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4E4B38FC0C; Thu, 8 Apr 2010 15:04:18 +0000 (UTC) Received: by yxe5 with SMTP id 5so13414yxe.3 for ; Thu, 08 Apr 2010 08:04:17 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=domainkey-signature:received:received:date:from:to:cc:subject :message-id:in-reply-to:references:x-mailer:mime-version :content-type:content-transfer-encoding; bh=aOtA08mWccWvxhoFajuZcVSR+RnyzN+JFr//mjLpADU=; b=LBIcJTsY1qxL9y0vMhO1rsQM8CzSNqtziRFAhSHMcHuzmCEEi+imQ/VYjaG8Hp8Mm/ xrlSrnyE3PndqDqFZDHvnENVlzBsDdhtwippAlLRx7sQqAuFZvn07R3GtD1NaiSLvHFU mUC0cDqSnnavdh7TyQulcaPScC4DbL/xDf48M= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=date:from:to:cc:subject:message-id:in-reply-to:references:x-mailer :mime-version:content-type:content-transfer-encoding; b=nQ5/sBCAPN3BiyZAjuY5aHxeKOlZtxgPi/FAmYUOSJ/eoXbwQYQgD2iCbHsOtgkd/j rXH8s0pLueNfRKPOsVyfPrYtjn3VcJSFtIcGrpCQG5SP75HwsUzdM1BN91s1Wkereh/5 EEuhQvqVxjmd/Sz7vLShOGn/UK2I4h1lrBxmQ= Received: by 10.100.28.21 with SMTP id b21mr201270anb.168.1270737453632; Thu, 08 Apr 2010 07:37:33 -0700 (PDT) Received: from locust.local (adsl-71-158-210-141.dsl.wchtks.sbcglobal.net [71.158.210.141]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id 13sm82122gxk.12.2010.04.08.07.37.32 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=RC4-MD5); Thu, 08 Apr 2010 07:37:32 -0700 (PDT) Date: Thu, 8 Apr 2010 09:34:44 -0500 From: Steve Randall To: Andriy Gapon Message-ID: <20100408093444.2c4acfa9@locust.local> In-Reply-To: <4BBDC3E1.3070304@icyb.net.ua> References: <4BBDC3E1.3070304@icyb.net.ua> X-Mailer: Claws Mail 3.7.5 (GTK+ 2.18.7; i386-portbld-freebsd8.0) Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: ports@FreeBSD.org, openoffice@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: openoffice.org-3.2.0-spadmin X-BeenThere: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting OpenOffice to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 08 Apr 2010 15:04:18 -0000 On Thu, 08 Apr 2010 14:54:09 +0300 Andriy Gapon wrote: > > Not sure if this is an upstream issue or something in editors/openoffice.org-3: > openoffice.org-3.2.0-spadmin is a symlink to openoffice.org-3.2.0 and running it > produces a "new document" startup window. > I believe that it should be a symlink to > ${LOCALBASE}/openoffice.org-3.2.0/openoffice.org3/program/spadmin which is the > actual openoffice.org printer configuration program which, for example, allows to > select which of the printers is to be used as a default one. There's an omission in the port Makefile. The problem is that the wrapper script /usr/local/bin/openoffice.org-3.2.0 contains a %%OOOVERSION%% that does not get replaced (with "3.2.0") prior to installing the file. Just make that change manually and it will work. Probably replace command for openoffice.org-wrapper file in post-install target needs to grow the following substitution: -e 's#%%OOOVERSION%%#${OOOVERSION}#g' -- Andriy Gapon
