Note that if you wish to compile from source, there are two key patches on top of the 1.6.0pre2 tarball for FreeBSD (already in git): AFS_64BIT_ENV needs to be defined in the !KERNEL case in the appropriate param.foo.h header, and for FreeBSD 8.2 and CURRENT, the global prtactive variable (referenced in afs_vop_inactive) has been removed. Please test and report any issues (though the disk-based cache will not be fixed for the release). -Ben Kaduk ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2011 20:52:51 -0500 (EST) From: Derrick J Brashear Reply-To: openafs-info@openafs.org To: openafs-announce@openafs.org Subject: [OpenAFS-announce] OpenAFS 1.6.0 release candidate 2 available The OpenAFS Gatekeepers announce the availability of the second release candidate for OpenAFS version 1.6.0.
