The install fails during sysinstall on the disk partioning step with the 'no disks found'-error. After some googling the problem seems to be lack of support for the new Dell PERC H200 (and H700 and H800 as well?) raid controllers in FreeBSD. It makes sense, in our case the system detects the card and disks but the OS doesnt. However, the hardware notes for 8.2 states that Dell PERC is supported. I have tried installing 8.1, 8.2 and 9 without success. Has anyone successfully installed FreeBSD on a Dell system with any of the newer PERC H200/700/800 cards? Our system specs: Dell R410, 2x Intel Xeon E5620, 16GB mem, 2x 600GB 15k SAS disks in RAID1, PERC H200A controller card Any input is preciated, Best regards Robert
