Provided diff tells that on QEMU (unlike GXEMUL) there is CD drive emulated as secondary master. Last line "(aprobe1:ata1:0:0:0): SIGNATURE: eb14" tells that device passed soft reset, but without more information it's difficult to say what happened next.
