You can use makefs -B big to create an = image, then dd it to the partition. I remember similar problems(wi= th fs)=20 on first boot of new makefs based image. There was needed to run fsck b= efore=20 first mount of fs. But have never seen such error on my board. Can you provide the command used to generate this image(and maybe image= itself=20 privately?) Alternative way maybe would work. You can't do that; you'll end up creating/writing a little-endian FFS to the disk, which won't work. I'll try this with -HEAD when I've finished moving. It's possible that USB is actually broken; so I'll try to eliminate that and get back to you.
