This is the output I get from the compiler. ### Code ### cd /usr/ports/net-im/skype/ && make install clean ===> skype-2.1.0.81,1 needs sys/dev/sound/pcm/dsp.c r221388 (and other changes). In this case you would need to comment out the IGNORE= line. This is because the ports do not check svn revisions (it would be very hard to implement that correctly), but OSVERSION and I haven't bumped __FreeBSD_version at the proper moments (and nobody reminded me about that, unfortunately). -- Andriy Gapon From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Sun May 15 14:53:19 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1940A1065687 for ; Sun, 15 May 2011 14:53:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kappei84@gmail.com) Received: from mail-pz0-f54.google.com (mail-pz0-f54.google.com [209.85.210.54]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 54E6B8FC14 for ; Sun, 15 May 2011 14:53:18 +0000 (UTC) Received: by pzk27 with SMTP id 27so2346013pzk.13 for ; Sun, 15 May 2011 07:53:17 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=domainkey-signature:mime-version:in-reply-to:references:date :message-id:subject:from:to:cc:content-type; bh=KleHyK9A9VFpJsESgJ2gX8lMq4d6g1l12ZBJj6GwAXE=; b=vW6pthsPnoQRkM8pd08qTqen/ZjT8rrpuCa08LmOdFNkWcq9IF+Bjl3g9Tv2RnGkUF eEDt1W28kyw3P9d5qfH6G8rsx2MxY9JlOildjQzoww7v9xw8RKa8hseE/2iceiwAu9Vf aNUq+FTyYU4I1+gd/9mEEobVm8AxsQIqI4bKU= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=mime-version:in-reply-to:references:date:message-id:subject:from:to :cc:content-type; b=bOC/nXoEXKdGcNmGPqE67MYPqhUqCxZ9anvnR3CRCcVeK/KV+950sYbCO6AMhCmSY4 IIjVrB+ZZvgb6XLU3UQhBN5DQUBSXSSOewi42O1NeRfPAqqKm1/e9G7VpNXCovpQye9Q WprL4Lxq+H5exhgEWjq15/01ZmF3KqF0D4boA= MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.142.62.9 with SMTP id k9mr2274895wfa.162.1305471197720; Sun, 15 May 2011 07:53:17 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.143.31.7 with HTTP; Sun, 15 May 2011 07:53:17 -0700 (PDT) In-Reply-To: <4DCFE689.3000904@FreeBSD.org> References: <20110515125252.5a90d966@ukr.net> <1305455213.2833.3.camel@crashalot.rainbow-runner.nl> <20110515140332.3acb7412@ukr.net> <20110515140755.6e833cd4@ukr.net> <20110515144556.292a0230@ukr.net> <20110515132530.GA6707@tinyCurrent> <4DCFE689.3000904@FreeBSD.org> Date: Sun, 15 May 2011 16:53:17 +0200 Message-ID: From: Daniele Mazzotti To: Andriy Gapon Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Cc: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Subject: Re: skype 2.1.0.81; alternate versions of the Linuxolator v4l2 patches X-BeenThere: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Multimedia discussions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 15 May 2011 14:53:19 -0000 Thanks you helped me. I've booted Ubuntu livecd and (surprise!) the sounds works, both playback and recording. I've downloaded latest alsa-driver-1.0.24 sources, and apparently, they do quite some magic in alsa-kernel/pci/hda/patch_sigmatel.c: 1) my sound card (8384:7690) is reported as STAC9220 on FreeBSD, but ALSA code lists it as STAC9200; -- can that be a problem? 2) my codec seems reference one, and ALSA applies the following pin configuration (in addition to other things): static unsigned int ref9200_pin_configs[8] = { 0x01c47010, 0x01447010, 0x0221401f, 0x01114010, 0x02a19020, 0x01a19021, 0x90100140, 0x01813122, }; These values vaguely match what I see from our snd_hda(4), but I am not sure how to properly apply them via device hints. Perhaps I was a bit too fast with reading the ALSA sources before carefully comparing HDA information dumps. This is what our snd_hda(4) reports about pins (only pin config, association, and sequence numbers quoted for better readability): nid 8 0x01c5e030 as 3 seq 0 nid 9 0x01451012 as 1 seq 2 nid 13 0x02214011 as 1 seq 1 nid 14 0x01014010 as 1 seq 0 nid 15 0x01813021 as 2 seq 1 nid 16 0x02a19020 as 2 seq 0 nid 17 0x50170013 as 1 seq 3 nid 18 0x90330022 as 2 seq 2 And this is excerpt from /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 for the same pins (again, concised by hand for better readability): Node 0x08 pincap 0x00010024 pin default 0x01c5e030 defas 0x3 seq 0x0 Node 0x09 pincap 0x00000010 pin default 0x00000010 defas 0x1 seq 0x2 Node 0x0d pincap 0x0000003f pin default 0x02214011 defas 0x1 seq 0x1 Node 0x0e pincap 0x0000003f pin default 0x01014010 defas 0x1 seq 0x0 Node 0x0f pincap 0x00000037 pin default 0x01813021 defas 0x2 seq 0x1 Node 0x10 pincap 0x00001737 pin default 0x02a19020 defas 0x2 seq 0x0 Node 0x11 pincap 0x00000010 pin default 0x50170013 defas 0x1 seq 0x3 Node 0x12 pincap 0x00000020 pin default 0x90330022 defas 0x2 seq 0x2 As you can see, all values match for both FreeBSD and ALSA. Strange. Assuming this is about a gstreamer port. Only port that does this explicitly is gstreamer-ffmpeg. And as far as I know it should work on all supported branches. I use gcc46 and binutils. The problem do not occur with base compiler. After update of gstreamer, first port build stopped with: "/usr/bin/ld: unrecognized option '-Bsymbolic-functions'" /usr/bin/ld shouldn't been invoked at all when using gcc46, but as ugly band aid I temporarily linked /usr/bin/ld to /usr/local/bin/ld. Update went fine, then I deleted soft link. After that, I can rebuild gstreamer with gcc46 without problems. (???) While debugging unrelated sound problem, I rebuilt audio/gstreamer-plugins-vorbis with base compiler. After that, to rebuild with gcc46 I again needed to link local ld. I don't know why sometimes base ld is used, when it shouldn't. Hope this is clearer. I am sorry to bother you all again. I made some progresses here. I have succesfully managed to run my webcam inside skype. I have basically followed the main steps to get my webcam working outside skype (e.g. cuse4bsd, webcamd and pwcview, I am sorry I am too lazy to write all the passages...) and then I made the following: [User@Fermi:/home/User]> su [Root@Fermi:/home/User]> kldload linux_v4l2wrapper and after then, as normal user run [User@Fermi:/home/User]> skype --resources=$PWD/skype_static-2.1.0.81 & which made my webcam available and working. By the way I have these warnings comparing on my command prompt [User@Fermi:/home/User]> libv4lcontrol: error creating shm segment failed: Function not implemented libv4lcontrol: falling back to malloc-ed memory for controls libv4lcontrol: error creating shm segment failed: Function not implemented libv4lcontrol: falling back to malloc-ed memory for controls libv4lcontrol: error creating shm segment failed: Function not implemented libv4lcontrol: falling back to malloc-ed memory for controls and if I try to run pwcview from the command line I only get a window opening and closing immediately telling me this: [User@Fermi:/home/User]> pwcview Webcam set to: 320x240 (sif) at 5 fps libv4l2: error reading: Invalid argument Error reading from webcam: Invalid argument I am however able to see the output of my webcam. I do not know if this can be of use to you but I think this is a good step forward. I am actually having troubles with audio devices and skype calls but I will try get rid of those problems tomorrow. All skype ports were moved to net-im/: - skype12: unchanged, very old version (for FreeBSD 6) - skype20: last version with OSS support, that used to live in net/skype; the DISTFILE is gone from the vendor but if you happen to have it it would be a way of having sound w/o a need to upgrade your base OS - [RECOMANDED] skype: currently at 2.1.0.81 and the best supported - skype-devel: currently at 2.2.0.25, sounds is OK, video doesn't work In order to run either skype or skype-devel with fully working sound you need: - to run fc10 (most probably, please report what you can run with fc4): (OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=f10,OVERRIDE_LINUX_NONBASE_PORTS=f10 in /etc/make.conf for systems that doesn't have it as default) - In order for Skype to work OK, you need your kernel and modules to be: - post 2011-05-03 in on HEAD - post 2011-05-08 in on 7,8-STABLE The port tries to catch if your system version is too old, but there's a ~3months window where because of a lack of OSVERSION bump, this is not possible. So please check; and PLEAE READ THE PKG_MESSAGE for setup details. For how to update your kernel/world, see: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/kernelconfig.html IF YOUR OSVERSION IS NOT NEW ENOUGH, SOUND (ESPECIALLY MIC) WON'T WORK. If you run into problems, at very least we need to know the output of: $ uname -a; sysctl compat.linux | head -2; grep OVERRIDE_LINUX_ /etc/make.conf; cat /compat/linux/etc/alsa/pcm/pcm-oss.conf the skype version you are using, and hardware details (eg. webcam) if related. I most probably will ignore any mail not containing this info since without it it's impossible to help. Please test your sound /video setup outside skype before blaming skype / mailing me. -- Ion-Mihai Tetcu From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Tue May 17 08:16:06 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9A737106566B for ; Tue, 17 May 2011 08:16:06 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from lev@FreeBSD.org) Received: from onlyone.friendlyhosting.spb.ru (onlyone.friendlyhosting.spb.ru [IPv6:2a01:4f8:131:60a2::2]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 617458FC1A for ; Tue, 17 May 2011 08:16:06 +0000 (UTC) Received: from lion.home.serebryakov.spb.ru (unknown [IPv6:2001:470:923f:1:c0e1:7989:b1b9:78c3]) (Authenticated sender: lev@serebryakov.spb.ru) by onlyone.friendlyhosting.spb.ru (Postfix) with ESMTPA id A51B94AC1C for ; Tue, 17 May 2011 12:16:05 +0400 (MSD) Date: Tue, 17 May 2011 12:16:04 +0400 From: Lev Serebryakov Organization: FreeBSD Project X-Priority: 3 (Normal) Message-ID: <1221973127.20110517121604@serebryakov.spb.ru> To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1251 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Subject: Is here any DVB-S card compatible with FreeBSD? Such devices aren't sold in Russia, where I > live, and local Satellite TV provider could not say anything, will or > will not their CAM works in such device :( The CI slot is more or less a PCMCIA slot (Astra has now CI+, which adds some kind of encryption to the mix, CI+ is not compatible with CI). To be able to use a PayTV card, you need a CAM between your PayTV card and the CI slot. If your PayTV provider supports normal CI slots, he should be able to tell you what kind of CAM you need to buy. If your provider does not support normal CI slots, and you want to use your legally paid PayTV card, there is the gray area of programmable decoder modules (there are a lot, e.g. AlphaCrypt, Diavolo/Diablo, ...). The one you need depends on the encryption of the PayTV card you have. So if your Satellite provider supports normal TVs with CI slots (not CI+ slots) (Sony/Samsung/LG/... have some TVs with CI slots), it should work in such a device too (no warranties). If you give it a try, please keep us updated if/how it works (and remember, Hans-Petter is the one to ask for support in webcamd). This tool basically scans the Linux Makefiles and convert them into BSD ones based on input from a "config" file. This is very much like menuconfig, only more lightweight. For example I don't care about automatic dependencies. Currently everything is built like a monotolith, but this new tool allows for modules aswell, so that for example the UVC video driver is a .so file which webcamd loads during startup. When I've got all the bits and pieces together I will do the final switchover to using media_tree.git. This might require some help from people that have submitted driver patches to webcamd which might no longer apply. --HPS Reference: svn --username anonsvn --password anonsvn \ checkout svn://svn.turbocat.net/i4b/trunk/usbcam/ulinux From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Thu May 19 01:36:18 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9CCC91065687 for ; Thu, 19 May 2011 01:36:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from hselasky@c2i.net) Received: from swip.net (mailfe01.c2i.net [212.247.154.2]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 204888FC17 for ; Thu, 19 May 2011 01:36:17 +0000 (UTC) X-Cloudmark-Score: 0.000000 [] X-Cloudmark-Analysis: v=1.1 cv=1W/zHQV/91afZrGZjnmxK4mmm0xPtKVmshL3njyU5IE= c=1 sm=1 a=SvYTsOw2Z4kA:10 a=jXCnncDB4D4A:10 a=WQU8e4WWZSUA:10 a=8nJEP1OIZ-IA:10 a=CL8lFSKtTFcA:10 a=i9M/sDlu2rpZ9XS819oYzg==:17 a=xq3W2uTSAAAA:8 a=OdR5sfXFAAAA:8 a=h5OUFbXWI2rj45285PUA:9 a=qVKia9ywiIVteC44xkMA:7 a=wPNLvfGTeEIA:10 a=i9M/sDlu2rpZ9XS819oYzg==:117 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.3.1 (2010-03-16) on mailfe01.swip.net X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.9 required=5.0 tests=ALL_TRUSTED,BAYES_00 autolearn=ham version=3.3.1 X-TFF-CGPSA-Version: 1.7 X-T2-CGPSA-Filter: Scanned Received: from [188.126.198.129] (account mc467741@c2i.net HELO laptop002.hselasky.homeunix.org) by mailfe01.swip.net (CommuniGate Pro SMTP 5.2.19) with ESMTPA id 129023260 for freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org; Thu, 19 May 2011 03:36:12 +0200 From: Hans Petter Selasky To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Date: Thu, 19 May 2011 03:35:03 +0200 User-Agent: KMail/1.13.5 (FreeBSD/8.2-STABLE; KDE/4.4.5; amd64; ; ) References: <201105182104.19607.hselasky@c2i.net> In-Reply-To: <201105182104.19607.hselasky@c2i.net> X-Face: *nPdTl_}RuAI6^PVpA02T?$%Xa^>@hE0uyUIoiha$pC:9TVgl.Oq, NwSZ4V"|LR.+tj}g5 %V,x^qOs~mnU3]Gn; cQLv&.N>TrxmSFf+p6(30a/{)KUU!s}w\IhQBj}[g}bj0I3^glmC( :AuzV9:.hESm-x4h240C`9=w MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: Text/Plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <201105190335.03535.hselasky@c2i.net> Subject: Re: Webcamd modularisation ongoing X-BeenThere: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Multimedia discussions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 19 May 2011 01:36:18 -0000 On Wednesday 18 May 2011 21:04:19 Hans Petter Selasky wrote: > Hi, > > I'm currently restructuring webcamd to be more up to date with the > following git: > > http://git.linuxtv.org/media_tree.git > > I've created a new tool (~1000 LOC) called linux_make, which I've committed > to my I4B svn repositorium under the usbcam/ulinux/tools/linux_make > folder. > > This tool basically scans the Linux Makefiles and convert them into BSD > ones based on input from a "config" file. I have also tried Audacity 1.3.12 and Auacity 1.2.4b_9 (ports: audacity), and all versions exhibit the same problem. FreeBSD version: root@kg-quiet# uname -a FreeBSD kg-quiet.kg4.no 8.2-STABLE FreeBSD 8.2-STABLE #0: Sun Apr 3 19:49:05 CEST 2011 root@kg-quiet.kg4.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 The sound setup setup is like this: I have an internal sound card, which is used for playback, and a usb device (like this one[2]), which is used for recording, it looks like this: root@kg-quiet# cat /dev/sndstat FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm: 64bit 2009061500/amd64) Installed devices: pcm0: at memory 0xfe029000 irq 17 kld snd_atiixp (1p:2v/1r:1v) default pcm1: at ? kld snd_uaudio (1p:1v/1r:1v) pcm0 (shown as "/dev/dsp" in Audacity preferences, devices) is the internal sound card, used for playback pcm1 (shown as "/dev/dsp1: Line" in Audacity preferences, devices) is the usb sound device, used for recording First of all; Audacity and this setup works, I can record, and I can playback sound afterwards. There is just one small problem; during recording, there is no sound. Yes, Software Playthrough is enabled. A bit of debugging shows this (done while Audacity was recording) root@kg-quiet# sysctl hw.snd.verbose=2 hw.snd.verbose: 1 -> 2 root@kg-quiet# cat /dev/sndstat FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm: 64bit 2009061500/amd64) Installed devices: pcm0: at memory 0xfe029000 irq 17 kld snd_atiixp (1p:2v/1r:1v) default snddev flags=0x2e2 [pcm0:play:dsp0.p0]: spd 48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x00002100, 0x00000004 interrupts 1115, underruns 0, feed 1115, ready 0 [b:4096/2048/2|bs:4096/2048/2] channel flags=0x2100 {userland} -> feeder_mixer(0x00200010) -> {hardware} pcm0:play:dsp0.p0[pcm0:virtual:dsp0.vp0]: spd 44100/48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x10000000, 0x00000029 interrupts 0, underruns 0, feed 0, ready 0 [b:0/0/0|bs:65536/2048/32] channel flags=0x10000000 {userland} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_volume(0x00200010) -> feeder_rate(0x00200010 q:1 44100 -> 48000) -> {hardware} pcm0:play:dsp0.p0[pcm0:virtual:dsp0.vp1]: spd 44100/48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x10000000, 0x00000029 interrupts 0, underruns 0, feed 0, ready 0 [b:0/0/0|bs:65536/2048/32] channel flags=0x10000000 {userland} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_volume(0x00200010) -> feeder_rate(0x00200010 q:1 44100 -> 48000) -> {hardware} [pcm0:record:dsp0.r0]: spd 48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x00002100, 0x00000005 interrupts 0, overruns 0, feed 0, hfree 4096, sfree 4096 [b:4096/2048/2|bs:4096/2048/2] channel flags=0x2100 {hardware} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_mixer(0x00200010) -> {userland} pcm0:record:dsp0.r0[pcm0:virtual:dsp0.vr0]: spd 44100/48000, fmt 0x00100010/0x00200010, flags 0x10000000, 0x00000069 interrupts 0, overruns 0, feed 0, hfree 0, sfree 32768 [b:0/0/0|bs:32768/1024/32] channel flags=0x10000000 {hardware} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_matrix(2.0 -> 1.0) -> feeder_volume(0x00100010) -> feeder_rate(0x00100010 q:1 48000 -> 44100) -> {userland} pcm1: at ? kld snd_uaudio (1p:1v/1r:1v) snddev flags=0x2e6 [pcm1:play:dsp1.p0]: spd 48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x00002108, 0x00000004 interrupts 910, underruns 0, feed 909, ready 0 [b:3072/1536/2|bs:4096/2048/2] channel flags=0x2108 {userland} -> feeder_mixer(0x00200010) -> {hardware} pcm1:play:dsp1.p0[pcm1:virtual:dsp1.vp0]: spd 44100/48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x1000114c, 0x00000029, pid 58968 (audacity) interrupts 0, underruns 33, feed 987, ready 2012 [b:0/0/0|bs:2048/512/4] channel flags=0x1000114c {userland} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_volume(0x00200010) -> feeder_rate(0x00200010 q:1 44100 -> 48000) -> {hardware} [pcm1:record:dsp1.r0]: spd 48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x00002108, 0x00000005 interrupts 910, overruns 0, feed 1820, hfree 3072, sfree 4095 [b:3072/1536/2|bs:4096/2048/2] channel flags=0x2108 {hardware} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_mixer(0x00200010) -> {userland} pcm1:record:dsp1.r0[pcm1:virtual:dsp1.vr0]: spd 44100/48000, fmt 0x00200010, flags 0x1000115c, 0x00000029, pid 58968 (audacity) interrupts 0, overruns 9, feed 2719, hfree 0, sfree 2012 [b:0/0/0|bs:2048/512/4] channel flags=0x1000115c {hardware} -> feeder_root(0x00200010) -> feeder_rate(0x00200010 q:1 48000 -> 44100) -> feeder_volume(0x00200010) -> {userland} Audacity tries to playback on pcm1 instead of pcm0, and that can't be right. If anyone of you have two sound devices in your FreeBSD machine, and at least one of them can record, would you be kind enough to try this: - use Audacity - set one device for record - set the other device for playback - make sure that record and playback works in Audacity - enable software playthrough - do you have sound while recording? - report in this thread ifd it works or not? I'm thinking of tools like these: http://manuals.opensound.com/usersguide/ossplay.html http://manuals.opensound.com/usersguide/ossrecord.html http://manuals.opensound.com/usersguide/osstest.html (yes, these examples are from OSS - that is not relevant) The reason I ask is that I'm trying to figure out a problem I have with Audacity, but the people in the officila Audacity forum know very little about FreeBSD, so I need to "prove" that the problem in question isn't with FreeBSD and / or the audio decices in question, but with Audacity. See the other thread ("Audacity tries playback on wrong device while recording") for the problem description. -- Torfinn From owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Sat May 21 10:03:59 2011 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4E6C7106564A for ; Sat, 21 May 2011 10:03:59 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from noreply+F56564630@netlogmail.com) Received: from mx02-3.netlogmail.com (mx02-3.netlogmail.com [193.164.158.76]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A6E8C8FC13 for ; Sat, 21 May 2011 10:03:58 +0000 (UTC) DomainKey-Signature: q=dns; a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; s=netlog; d=netlogmail.com; h=DKIM-Signature:Received:Message-ID:From:To:Sender:Subject:Date:X-MM-ID:MIME-Version:Content-Type; b=mI9ScEm18EEPE5Pbae5SB+3y3Nkvm6NhVAkGF6FfA8tQowUPp7D3n0s4vQ161iTh Sof48P/lR6ICunGn/FLyFTz2VAk7WWDsYKLGtpk2DNtpw36PoHaQUQARLbnMtKL+ 5ZG2uf58vmewkMlYcb0htU/O8L5hoBctnhmiYD3eD3A= DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha1; d=netlogmail.com; s=netlog; c=relaxed/simple; q=dns/txt; i=netlogmail.com; t=1305971552; h=From:Subject:Date:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type; bh=yKkdMI1wyE4ROZZxgDZu5jIWPFU=; b=tCCOhjY1RtcluNfirJiosafTN1+BvK/hqk0N1wuELnqR2R0PVcq82N8yM6WDntW5 avmNUWNgz09K1y3+5S/oMG6djSeQg9tJG19+BWU9VyURoj6gzKk9HmURskLvYBlQ F8jOpE7Z9JvZdRRAyRCEnS+EJ01vVX6M+5fUTCudPt8=; Received: from [192.168.10.13] ([192.168.10.13:56726] helo=web) by mx19.netlogmail.com (envelope-from ) (ecelerity 3.0.26.37820 r(37820)) with ESMTP id 0B/C3-04202-F5B87DD4; Sat, 21 May 2011 11:52:32 +0200 Message-ID: <0B.C3.04202.F5B87DD4@mail03> From: Robert Kopp To: Sender: noreply+F56564630@netlogmail.com Date: Sat, 21 May 2011 10:03:57 +0000 X-MM-ID: -3aWQ9RjU2NTY0NjMwLHR5cGU9MTYsZGlzdHJvPWVuLGRpc3Ryb2lkPTE3OTYwNjcyMzQsZGF0ZT0xMzA1OTcyMjM3LHN1YnR5cGU9MSx2ZXJzaW9uPTcsY3Y9djYuMDAsdWlkPTAsbWlkPTA= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Subject: Reminder: Robert Kopp wants to add you as a friend on Netlog X-BeenThere: freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Multimedia discussions List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 21 May 2011 10:03:59 -0000 Hi, Since Thursday 22 July 2010, you have been invited by 1 of your contacts to join Netlog, the social community for over 70 million members. Nice! Not really. By using the devices directly, you can not setup the parameters for the devices, and you can not play/record formated soundfile correctly, like WAV. So these tools, ossplay and others, are really essential. But may not be that essential for a base system. > -- > Torfinn > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-multimedia@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-multimedia > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-multimedia-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" > -- Zhihao Yuan The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
