Refer to the FreeBSD Porter's Handbook, 'Package Naming Conventions' for more information. Tools that won't work include pkg_version, portupgrade and portaudit. A common error is an accidental deletion of PORTEPOCH. Please fix any errors as soon as possible. Setting a sufficiently massive "HUGE_STACK_SIZE" results in useful error messages eventually being provided. Alternately would it be possible to request a GIANT_STACK_SIZE flag be added to the list if we can't adjust the value for huge?
