They have 2 NICs (NIC 10/100 and NIC GBit). After DC boots off 10/100 that NIC's job is finished and GBit should handle all traffic. At this point something as simple as NIC GBit up, NIC 10/100 down would be acceptable as well. I have tried to modify Peter's lagg script to jut bring up NIC GBit with NIC 10/100 info without using lagg, to no avail unfortunately.
