I'm primarily a KDE4 user, but pidgin has some plugins I use. textproc/aspell is a dependency of the KDE stuff and it's pkg-descr indicates it should be exactly what pidgin is looking for. Unfortunately this not the case. With a suggestion from marcus@, I installed textproc/en-aspell. This worked to resolve the issue for me, however this is the pkg-descr for the ports: Aspell English dictionaries. Note: if you have installed textproc/aspell, English dictionaries have already been installed; this port is only useful if you had previously installed textproc/aspell-without-dicten. This state has left me confused. Can anyone explain what is going on here? Is there something wrong with the structure of these ports? -- Adam Vande More From owner-freebsd-office@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jun 10 02:00:00 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: office@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BEAAEEBA for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from sunpoet@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206c::16:87]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 982DB13A6 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7) with ESMTP id r5A200kA086993 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 GMT (envelope-from sunpoet@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from sunpoet@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7/Submit) id r5A2008N086990 for office@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 GMT (envelope-from sunpoet) Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 GMT From: Sunpoet Po-Chuan Hsieh Message-Id: <201306100200.r5A2008N086990@freefall.freebsd.org> To: office@FreeBSD.org Subject: Office Scout Weekly Digest (2013/06/10 02:00:00) X-BeenThere: freebsd-office@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: Office applications on FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2013 02:00:00 -0000 ____ _______ ____ __ / __ \/ _/ _(_)______ / __/______ __ __/ /_ / /_/ / _/ _/ / __/ -_) _\ \/ __/ _ \/ // / __/ \____/_//_//_/\__/\__/ /___/\__/\___/\_,_/\__/ _ __ __ __ ___ _ __ | | _ / /__ ___ / /__ / /_ __ / _ \(_)__ ____ ___ / /_ | |/ |/ / -_) -_) _// / // / / // / / _ \/ -_|_- Delivered-To: office@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id F2C878CD for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 07:20:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from baptiste.daroussin@gmail.com) Received: from mail-wg0-x234.google.com (mail-wg0-x234.google.com [IPv6:2a00:1450:400c:c00::234]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8ACB11F71 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 07:20:11 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-wg0-f52.google.com with SMTP id z12so3960676wgg.19 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 00:20:10 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=sender:date:from:to:cc:subject:message-id:references:mime-version :content-type:content-disposition:in-reply-to:user-agent; bh=pKDAOUDZsUGp04bQ3TuYhaqUQXI2681CjO5VNPWbwB4=; b=Hv4/8lTfl/nNszM6a5ik3uI7mHBvueSvE469kynaVGOPeuEewr844C3cnQOkDNmI68 GarQfYyFXrDWvzPTeYo7/SMHwtqRy+RYPi2bOzedWyEpfRQYcJZe5asFfgeQAY5l/xCH eAFdk7Y1l09eqGoLlkvN0VwfYRyZ7C6qjsB3HNEH6OYdzExqt1W6jmUegq5ZjEdA8rME bl+q5IZtqnCMQAqJ062W33akafwBLIMAWa0FhxeGL4MfAVRFjy3R8T9tvwdKFOpD3XTm UhSp0e2/8FNeEO0HSU2r4P75ga2UFgta1ibmYc+9CsgqhfpoFvgqw1XDzYMheqONBc4h hUvw== X-Received: by 10.194.21.138 with SMTP id v10mr4787554wje.16.1370848810675; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 00:20:10 -0700 (PDT) Received: from ithaqua.etoilebsd.net (ithaqua.etoilebsd.net. For consistency (avoiding 2 different port) aspell has been turned into a no dictionnary port and if you need a dictionnary just install the one you need (for instance en-aspell in your case) regards, Bapt --4QzzFpAwbwI4hdN6 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAlG1ficACgkQ8kTtMUmk6ExjgQCeKFlguTgsGUD9hcn78ip9p6C9 iNwAniwTAGNZeZG5B0YrQVH6roKwVKmC =wXI+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --4QzzFpAwbwI4hdN6-- From owner-freebsd-office@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jun 10 11:07:47 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: office@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D9DD3380 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206c::16:87]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BDF7E1D42 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:47 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7) with ESMTP id r5AB7l4Y098180 for ; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:47 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7/Submit) id r5AB7l7T098178 for office@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:47 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:47 GMT Message-Id: <201306101107.r5AB7l7T098178@freefall.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: freefall.freebsd.org: gnats set sender to owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org using -f From: FreeBSD bugmaster To: office@FreeBSD.org Subject: Current problem reports assigned to office@FreeBSD.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-office@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: Office applications on FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2013 11:07:48 -0000 Note: to view an individual PR, use: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=(number). Specifically, it does not uses CFLAGS instead of CXXFLAGS when performing some tests related to the C++ compiler. This ends up making it add '-lstdc++' to the linker's command line even if one sets CXXFLAGS to -stdlib=libc++. The attached patch fixes the problem by "backporting" the appropriate libtool.m4 change to the configure script. I confirm this, devel/liblangtag does not register gobj* files with pkgng. Neither 0.5 nor 0.4 port versions do this. I didn't go any earlier than that. The 0.5 version has CONFIGURE_ARGS= --disable-introspection but the older gobj* files are not removed prior to build/install. I think the port maintainer needs to look at this. Anton
