Sometimes (e.g. when I change repositories, perhaps?), "pkg upgrade" or a large "pkg install" will want to install lots of packages, every single one of which has a checksum that doesn't match what's in the local cache. This is fine, but could I have a way to tone down the "pkg: xxxxxxx checksum doesn't match" messages? The long list of packages downloading is quite satisfying to watch, but the warning messages, not so much. :) Jon -- Jonathan Anderson jonathan@FreeBSD.org From owner-freebsd-pkg@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Nov 5 21:19:06 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) (using TLSv1 with cipher ADH-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 29D5CFB5 for ; Tue, 5 Nov 2013 21:19:06 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from claudiu.vasadi@gmail.com) Received: from mail-ie0-x22a.google.com (mail-ie0-x22a.google.com [IPv6:2607:f8b0:4001:c03::22a]) (using TLSv1 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-RC4-SHA (128/128 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id F15FC27E1 for ; Tue, 5 Nov 2013 21:19:05 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-ie0-f170.google.com with SMTP id at1so16153347iec.1 for ; Tue, 05 Nov 2013 13:19:05 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=mime-version:date:message-id:subject:from:to:content-type; bh=MBWuK10UCRRzj/+nQkRgORscJZDOOMiQzeHop/3O63c=; b=MYV80iNxrlDS8bSnugHMQTtKYtpfN7i6A4SJS3jUS4Scioxkfe5o21axjXOrHVbd7n 8y/m0ffc+nvc+880U71axm5ZfixdO0FFetr5xlUwjasAslwo07Ty8XiQTAYgcd9kwJkW yfmQr9EwS28DkfHBXJ5yYw4cy0lnAiKlorvngKE0fU2Xub85h7EDtr04vnur34HIqPAk cp8CrgqiFkT5aQrOaLEJc6LGTK7AkRR4d3g7+i9gmb/fDDHoPyc1+4hvGEirReZ22b86 fudCiFh4dTkinslukbEq35b4MkaTXKo2lRka0UQtT2FGzwfGtrvK8VV2q7PguBd+Gg88 /YOQ== MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Received: by 10.50.20.226 with SMTP id q2mr17492454ige.11.1383686345157; Tue, 05 Nov 2013 13:19:05 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.64.134.169 with HTTP; Tue, 5 Nov 2013 13:19:04 -0800 (PST) Date: Tue, 5 Nov 2013 22:19:04 +0100 Message-ID: Subject: 10.0-BETA3 pkg install subversion - Conflict found on path From: claudiu vasadi To: freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.14 X-BeenThere: freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: Binary package management and package tools discussion List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 05 Nov 2013 21:19:06 -0000 Hi all, Fresh installation of 10.0-BETA3 i386 r257580. pkg install sudo subversion Updating repository catalogue digests.txz 100% 963KB 107.0KB/s 142.6KB/s 00:09 packagesite.txz 100% 5275KB 159.9KB/s 205.1KB/s 00:33 Incremental update completed, 0 packages processed: 0 packages updated, 0 removed and 21783 added.
