I'll host it on my server or I'll put it on box.com I'll mail it to you if you want. This is not a Tier 1 system, you're not going to get as much attention as you would from the other lists. These systems are beyond of life. I responded to your comment as it should have been. No one here has said anything to you about having issues having steady internet. I don't know which 10 iso will boot successfully for you, but I do have a 10 current ppc system and I can easily make an iso for you if you want it. Judging others isn't a good idea. While he probably could have had more luck if he had switched to NetBSD or GNU/Linux, I guess we owe him something for being so keen on running FreeBSD. Sorry. If I can get a bootable 10 image, then I should be able to install ports by importing software. FreeBSD runs great on the older PowerMacs and can build with 400MHz and 384M RAM without choking. I had trouble setting up NetBSD. Linux needs 500MHz or better, 512M RAM, and the kernel has to be recompiled. I did OpenBSD but you need the same system requirements as Linux to compile. If I need Linux Compat then I'll see about using NetBSD as an additional machine. Again, this is for an audio project for a friend.
