I am running FreeBSD 9.1 on my sun bladd 1000 but this problem is for any OS running on it, not OS dependent. When I COLD start up it, or when i shutdown and restart it switching off the button, my sun blade 1000 will start turning front leds on but turns off by itself after 30 seconds. nothing is displayed on the console, video is black. This occour 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 times it depends it is variable then at the end it starts up normally. Normally after 3 or 4 attempts. This happens every time I switch it off and try to switch it on again, immediately or after 1 hour or after 1 day or 1 month, when I turn it on again this is the behaviour. On normal reboot it does not happen. What could be the reason of this ? All the rest is working very well on this machine and it can stay up for months without problems. thank you Rick From owner-freebsd-sparc64@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Jun 3 11:06:52 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-sparc64@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.FreeBSD.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3F9B55E2 for ; Mon, 3 Jun 2013 11:06:52 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206c::16:87]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2F28C13C3 for ; Mon, 3 Jun 2013 11:06:52 +0000 (UTC) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7) with ESMTP id r53B6qn5015163 for ; Mon, 3 Jun 2013 11:06:52 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from gnats@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.7/8.14.7/Submit) id r53B6p3u015161 for freebsd-sparc64@FreeBSD.org; Mon, 3 Jun 2013 11:06:51 GMT (envelope-from owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org) Date: Mon, 3 Jun 2013 11:06:51 GMT Message-Id: <201306031106.r53B6p3u015161@freefall.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: freefall.freebsd.org: gnats set sender to owner-bugmaster@FreeBSD.org using -f From: FreeBSD bugmaster To: freebsd-sparc64@FreeBSD.org Subject: Current problem reports assigned to freebsd-sparc64@FreeBSD.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-sparc64@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to the Sparc List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 03 Jun 2013 11:06:52 -0000 Note: to view an individual PR, use: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=(number).
