I'd like to draw your attention to this PR: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=kern/164082 It seems like this is still an issue on 10-BETA3, with the result that x11/xconsole does not work. The problem has been discussed here (and in the provided links in the PR as well), but apparently there is no solution yet: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=9969 Can you start investigating this, perhaps with the help of some kernel developers? I would really like to have an xconsole display all my messages. Thanks! We forgo copying the new offsets back into the relocation entries in order to prevent a recursive locking bug should we trigger a pagefault whilst holding the mutex for the reservations of the execbuffer. Therefore, we need to reset the presumed_offsets just in case the objects are rebound back into their old locations after relocating for this exexbuffer - if that were to happen we would assume the relocations were valid and leave the actual pointers to the kernels dangling, instant hang.
