However, the apache24 binary package does not include mod_ldap or mod_authnz_ldap, and these appear to not be available via a separate binary package, so I find myself unable to convert my web server to use the binary package version of www/apache24 (or devel/apr1, which also requires LDAP support to be compiled in for Apache to be able to use mod_ldap and mod_authnz_ldap) as it breaks authorization on about 400 web sites for me. Is there any chance of getting LDAP support added to the binary packages for devel/apr1 and www/apache24, or at least a second package for each of these (devel/apr1-ldap and www/apache24-ldap perhaps)? Or am I missing something that would enable me to use these binary packages? -- Tim Gustafson tjg@ucsc.edu 831-459-5354 Baskin Engineering, Room 313A From owner-freebsd-apache@freebsd.org Fri Jul 17 22:29:20 2015 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-apache@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7EAD59A3DBD for ; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 22:29:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pgollucci@p6m7g8.com) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5D2971AA1 for ; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 22:29:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pgollucci@p6m7g8.com) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 59CB19A3DBC; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 22:29:20 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: apache@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3F5A89A3DBB for ; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 22:29:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pgollucci@p6m7g8.com) Received: from mail-ig0-f171.google.com (mail-ig0-f171.google.com [209.85.213.171]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 (128/128 bits)) (Client CN "smtp.gmail.com", Issuer "Google Internet Authority G2" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 134D71AA0 for ; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 22:29:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from pgollucci@p6m7g8.com) Received: by igvi1 with SMTP id i1so44709232igv.1 for ; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 15:29:19 -0700 (PDT) X-Google-DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=1e100.net; s=20130820; h=x-gm-message-state:mime-version:in-reply-to:references:date :message-id:subject:from:to:cc:content-type; bh=zou64bJOu/x/hG4TV8FgM+CANySfkk9XcvFhevZfsnw=; b=Tnv5Wdph6KfFuL8aiqiQiLH2xhp2Nm/xfR6hKRwkKk20HS4uG6Z1137M1Sf7TjPwmY eJgZCLxQprVM7kc45wrogujjzWrDTny4u489mzlymZYADyL8xts4O1r36hyrMETi3uGq dlwLlxDs7isoAE3rY1XQgIGWMy4MIEN2roGiq3VoOomKZd4GPt1psqTNtybbnFNj1rVT E2yut8kCAVpGG74uKbQGncjImd/22/3UGBihIplgpXxhUe2x1JsoxdWJeKvOGDzqtWGu FdJnkwD6FJEOfVaZZKkSDCY8TerlhLg6Bt2ZjEDuIQ5DGvPntdZoa48qttEwtaY4soNT 8C0Q== X-Gm-Message-State: ALoCoQnWVuOdFHUlCUDE5ppfQAdDj+SYPwYrBilqg7z1qTHvmj0gZmwj4htP9G7vHV8Wmpa1BgA0 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Received: by 10.107.130.11 with SMTP id e11mr24107092iod.156.1437172158881; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 15:29:18 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.50.195.199 with HTTP; Fri, 17 Jul 2015 15:29:18 -0700 (PDT) X-Originating-IP: [68.101.40.130] In-Reply-To: References: Date: Fri, 17 Jul 2015 18:29:18 -0400 Message-ID: Subject: Re: Apache 2.4 - No LDAP Support By Default From: "Philip M.
