Answer: A little. As I've already admitted, most of this UEFI stuff is rather entirely opaque to me... undoubtedly because I haven't invested the time necessary to scour online documents enough to understand it. Not even marginally. (That's my fault, so mea cupla.) However given that that FreeBSD Release Engineering folks are routinely going to all the trouble to create these full alternate sets of install images, it seems to me that it would be reasonable to invest at least a small additional amount of effort to describe for us end lusers the circumstances under which one of these alternate images would be either necessary or useful. Right now, there's nothing. No hints whatsoever. it is unrelated to the = hash used to generate the content that is being signed. That is, there is a file that you want to authenticate (the .iso image or similar); call that file "large". The signature file is generated by compu= ting SHA256(large) and storing to another file; call it "CHECKSUM". Then, gnupg= is used to sign the file CHECKSUM, producing a file with the content and a signature over the other content, call it "CHECKSUM.asc". CHECKSUM.asc contains some metadata describing the way in which the PGP signature was generated. That is a different step than performing sha256(large). You should be able to "gpg --verify CHECKSUM.SHA256-FreeBSD-10.3-RELEASE-amd64.asc" (if you have the appropriate key in your keyring) to verify the GPG signature, and then compare the SHA256sum contained in the file you verified against the SHA256sum of the f= ile you downloaded. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-doc@freebsd.org Tue Apr 5 22:42:36 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-doc@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 85829B039B8 for ; Tue, 5 Apr 2016 22:42:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bck@123solutions-experts.com) Received: from mail645.revtacli.com (mail645.revtacli.com [51.254.101.149]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 37C6A1A3B for ; Tue, 5 Apr 2016 22:42:35 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bck@123solutions-experts.com) Received: from 123solutions-experts.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail645.revtacli.com (Postfix) with SMTP id 93CAC1EA09 for ; Wed, 6 Apr 2016 00:36:37 +0200 (CEST) MIME-Version: 1.0 X-campaign_id: 95VAV8UH_24331_a2a64a0985efe1dca7a4d36ddb05a61d Precedence: bulk From: "Business services" Reply-To: "Business services" Subject: =?UTF-8?Q?La_t=C3=A9l=C3=A9phonie_d=27entreprise_s=27adapte_?= =?UTF-8?Q?=C3=A0_votre_budget?= Message-ID: To: freebsd-doc@freebsd.org Date: Wed, 6 Apr 2016 00:36:37 +0200 (CEST) Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.21 X-BeenThere: freebsd-doc@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.21 List-Id: Documentation project List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 05 Apr 2016 22:42:36 -0000 Si vous ne pouvez pas lire cet email, suivre ce lien (http://front.123solutions-experts.com/php/emailing/view_mail.php?CODE=95VAV8UH_24331&HASH=a2a64a0985efe1dca7a4d36ddb05a61d) Téléphonie Pro LOGO (http://lt.123solutions-experts.com/r.php?i=95VAV8UH_24331_1&l=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.standard-telephonique-pro.eu%2Fdiagnostic-telephonie-entreprise%2F%3Futm_source%3Dgulli-interne-stdteltwnv2-3) La téléphonie d’Entreprise s’adapte à votre budget... The path has changed. The MD5 checksum files are missing. There is a new .xz suffix on the end of some .iso files. Didn't see anything about this in the Release notes. https://www.freebsd.org/releases/10.3R/announce.html does say the sha256 and md5 hashes follow at the bottom of the message. But only sha256 & sha512 hashes are shown. Think some corrections are in order. Retailers are able to pass the savings required to open a retail store to customers, by giving them better discounts. Now you know why products sold on online sho, pping sites are often a lot cheaper than retail stores. Plus, many sh,opping sites today are mobile friendly that makes online sh,opping on the go very convenient. It’s easy to see why just in Singapore alone, Qoo10 has already more than 1 million paying customers. Image Image Research Most new online business owners tend to over look this. They quickly fall in love with products and bring in stocks of products they think people will buy. And when the products don’t move, they wind up having to resort to selling at cost or below cost price… thus making a loss. Doing a proper research on what products sell well saves you 99% of the problems you face later on in your business. One of the simplest ways to do research, is to look at the bestseller’s list on other popular sh,opping sites from other countries. Then look at Qoo10 or Lazada to see if there are any competitors selling the product. If there’s no one selling it or if there’s very few competitors Then you have a potential bestseller. 2. Sourcing Many retailers around the world would consider China as the factory of the world. As their costs for producing goods is one of the lo,west in the world. However, its also common for foreigners to get cheated by unscrupulous suppliers who sell fake goods or bad quality products at the same price. When it comes to sourcing. The secret lies in “Where” and “Who” you know. For starters, looking out for good reviews of the supplier and how many recent sold items can give you a good gauge on how legit they are. As a Qoo10 and Ebay power seller, I’ve had my fair share of getting conned by unscrupulous suppliers. And I’ve also built many good relationships with many honorable suppliers. 3. Determine Profit: To ensure profitability in your business, you have to start managing the cost of each product. After all, the lower the cost, the higher your profit margin will be. Things that contribute to your cost include shipping, product costs, marketing… etc. Shipping fees are pretty standard. If you’re charging your customers shipping, then the cost isn’t a problem. What you can control is where you get your products. Compare prices with different suppliers. Usually the bigger the quantity, the lower the costs for each product. However, if you take too many stocks of the same products, you run the risk of not being able to sell all of them. In our training, we show you where to source for products that offers you competitive prices at small quantities. And we have a system that shows you just the right amount of products to bring in, so you won’t blow your budget. Check out our training 4. Listing: You’ve probably heard that, “Pictures speak a thousand words”. This has never been truer when you’re listing a product up on Qoo10 or Lazada. First and foremost, pictures have to be professionally taken as it reflects upon your customer’s impression of you as a seller. Even as a new seller, you can take advantage of a good product listing to instantly gain credibility. And the good news is, you only need to set up the product listing once and it will continue to help you “sell” your product 24 hours a day. Talk about passive income.. And remember, pictures sells... 5. Scale: Once you start to have sales coming. It’s time to scale up your business to earn 2 to 3 times more. Find similar platforms and duplicate the same listing there. And you’ll have a winning e-commerce business formula. Unfortunately, the biggest flaw with most online business owners is that they don’t have a full system to run it. In our Qoo10 training, we teach you from step 1 or the way to step 5 making sure you succeed with our guidance. But I’ve to warn you though; this training could literally change your life… like it has been for many of our students. Check out our training If you’re ready to take your financials up to the next level, I like to invite you to our fr,ee Qoo10 Training before we run out of seats... The X Display Manager ... /start 5.6.3 Xsetup_# Here background image and xdm applications can be launched. To change the c= olor you can use "x11/xsetroot," but changing the image requires an application = like "x11/bgs". Example: #!/bin/sh bgs ~/mypic.jpg & #xsetroot & #xconsole & xconsole can be commented out without concerns, if it is not needed. 5.6.4 Xsession Customization is better done by ~/.xsession. Example of ~/.xsession: #!/bin/sh exec xterm & exec fluxbox exec $1 In this example, applications are ended with an "&". The desktop choice is = last on the list, and is absent of an "&". Be sure "~/.xsession" is read and exe= cute permissible by owner and group. chmod 660 ~/.xsession /end .xsession (and Xsession) is covered in the next section, but it has more to= do with XDM.
