Bot= h tools will produce a raw file that contains the first snapshot state. Also if you roll back the VMware snapshot, sometimes it can render the syst= em unbootable. I have experienced this with FreeBSD ZFS installations. The = VMware snapshot is not a true snapshot of the disk. So I recommend making a= backup of the VMs before converting them over. Best of luck! I just experimented with a few tutorials and then went on to using Xen. I had known of the vmdktool utilities and used them to move VM's between home and office, but never was a serious VMWare customer (too expensive!). Easiest thing is to probably add d= ebug=3D"yes" to the guest config file then try and run it again. Any outpu= t from the bhyve command will be written to bhyve.log (note that's a differ= ent file to vm-bhyve.log). I addressed it with sendbug command under OpenBSD Gu= est. It's working under all other OSes I tried. So no MSI support could be the answer. PS: Should not be part of a bugreport. But bless bhyve.
