I was trying to update the u-boot, but I = couldn't do the job. As you said "You could try updating u-boot to use the u-boot-master port (whichcurrentl= y track the 2017.07 version of U-Boot)." Please tell me how can I do this job? How can I update u-boot. Thanks in advance. A83T support is not really great even in Linux or U-Boot. =C2=A0You could try updating u-boot to use the u-boot-master port (which curently track the 2017.07 version of U-Boot). -- Emmanuel Vadot ______________________________ _________________ freebsd-arm@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/ mailman/listinfo/freebsd-arm To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-arm-unsubscribe@ freebsd.org" =20 From owner-freebsd-arm@freebsd.org Mon Oct 2 13:47:52 2017 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-arm@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A26FBE3FF4D for ; Mon, 2 Oct 2017 13:47:52 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from lausts@acm.org) Received: from cdptpa-cmomta01.email.rr.com (cdptpa-outbound-snat.email.rr.com [107.14.166.228]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "Client", Issuer "CA" (not verified)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 70B256934F for ; Mon, 2 Oct 2017 13:47:51 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from lausts@acm.org) Received: from mail.laus.org ([65.29.112.189]) by cmsmtp with ESMTP id z0ymdJ7zDhqwcz0yod669n; Mon, 02 Oct 2017 13:41:55 +0000 Received: from [192.168.1.100] (presario [192.168.1.100]) by mail.laus.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTPS id v92DgoWH082677 (version=TLSv1.2 cipher=ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 bits=128 verify=NO) for ; Mon, 2 Oct 2017 09:42:51 -0400 (EDT) (envelope-from lausts@acm.org) X-Authentication-Warning: mail.laus.org: Host presario [192.168.1.100] claimed to be [192.168.1.100] Reply-To: lausts@acm.org To: freebsd-arm@freebsd.org From: Thomas Laus Subject: BeagleBone Crochet Build Problem Message-ID: <176dbdd5-1a32-06b2-7dd8-0647cc0fbe20@acm.org> Date: Mon, 2 Oct 2017 09:42:50 -0400 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/52.3.0 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Language: en-US Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-CMAE-Envelope: MS4wfArPxxzLxZsT6cbtdEZwBxypx2up68WnyFE//3bCiOw1hieN0WzhFHfZplXaB4qYCOwhgf0P8m5Ldxj7RaNV7Pq/zpBQ2e+ZX2Dg/ZgCEKQDCIwuJ4RI 2iy7LzDWZKhavC6yRqyaWMcKQsLTeRuy1CWVg31rXnhmuKRrgpYCLz/Y X-BeenThere: freebsd-arm@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.23 Precedence: list List-Id: "Porting FreeBSD to ARM processors." The build process stopped because of a missing file: removed pre-existing mount directory; creating new one. Installing U-Boot from: /usr/local/share/u-boot/u-boot-beaglebone :327:10: fatal error: '/usr/src/sys/boot/fdt/dts/beaglebone.dts' file not found #include "/usr/src/sys/boot/fdt/dts/beaglebone.dts" ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 error generated. Error: Expected /dts-v1/; version string Error: Failed to find root node /. Failed to parse tree. Failed to mmap file: Invalid argument I looked in the directory that was referenced in the error and confirmed the missing file. I also upgraded all of my packages today on my build server before starting the Crochet build for Beaglebone. My U-Boot Beaglebone is at version 2017.07.00.1 which (from portsnap) appears to be the most recent. Tom -- Public Keys: PGP KeyID = 0x5F22FDC1 GnuPG KeyID = 0x620836CF
