Subject: IOC generated bus reset [mpt(4)] and no idea what the problem could be

 Hello,

I'm using multiple LSI21320ie HBAs (mpt(4)) with usually no problems,
but one Mammoth drive refuses communication.
The only message I get ist "IOC generated bus reset" and failures when
trying to issue a bus reset.

The drive in question is from the very early LVD days. If it's LVD at
all. It just states "differential SCSI", which hoepfully doesn't mean HVD!?!
Is there any way to prevent mpt(4) from this »IOC bus reset«? So that I
could play with different negotiations etc.

thanks,

-harry
