Netinstall is trickier as a result of some limitations in the kernel's nfsroot support. There is not a clear way to allow the kernel to conditionally boot from NFS if not started from loader, which we don't use on PowerNV, so you will have to use a custom kernel with options BOOTP. -Nathan From owner-freebsd-ppc@freebsd.org Tue Apr 10 10:47:25 2018 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-ppc@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id AE100F91A13 for ; Tue, 10 Apr 2018 10:47:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from saket@vipharmaevents.com) Received: from mailer29.gate91.rs.smtp.com (mailer29.gate91.rs.smtp.com [74.91.91.29]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 433FF85A37 for ; Tue, 10 Apr 2018 10:47:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from saket@vipharmaevents.com) X-MSFBL: 6YKt6Sa98RebDANNl9sFlY/aWnzN371z3pXVYKaQCMs=|eyJyIjoiZnJlZWJzZC1 wcGNAZnJlZWJzZC5vcmciLCJiIjoiVmlydHVlSW5zaWdodEV2ZW50c19kZWRpY2F 0ZWRfcG9vbF83NF85MV85MV8yOSIsImciOiJWaXJ0dWVJbnNpZ2h0RXZlbnRzX2R lZGljYXRlZF9wb29sIn0= Received: from [10.137.129.33] ([10.137.129.33:50938] helo=mtl-mtsp-c02-1.int.smtp) by mtl-mtsp-mta05-out2.smtp.com (envelope-from ) (ecelerity 4.2.1.55028 r(Core:4.2.1.12)) with ESMTP id 0B/26-19035-5819CCA5; Tue, 10 Apr 2018 10:27:17 +0000 Received: from 10.137.11.78 by Caffeine (mtl-mtsp-c02-1) with SMTP id 0383aa9b-d3a3-4e18-a85b-50ea8c8c6668 for freebsd-ppc@freebsd.org; Tue, 10 Apr 2018 10:27:14 +0000 (UTC) Received: from [86.27.100.26] ([86.27.100.26:23686] helo=Piyush) by mtl-mtsp-mta01-in2 (envelope-from ) (ecelerity 4.1.0.46749 r(Core:4.1.0.4)) with ESMTPA id FC/18-16595-2819CCA5; Tue, 10 Apr 2018 10:27:14 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 From: "Saket Vayeda" Reply-To: saket@vipharmaevents.com To: freebsd-ppc@freebsd.org Subject: Pharma AI & IoT 2018 (Conference) X-Mailer: Smart_Send_4_1_8 Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2018 11:27:12 +0100 Message-ID: <123325098687201457524013@Piyush> X-SMTPCOM-Tracking-Number: 0383aa9b-d3a3-4e18-a85b-50ea8c8c6668 X-SMTPCOM-Sender-ID: 5010263 Feedback-ID: 5010263:SMTPCOM DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/simple; d=smtpserver.email; i=@smtpserver.email; q=dns/txt; s=smtpcustomer; t=1523356036; h=MIME-Version : From : Reply-To : To : Subject : Content-Type : Date : Message-ID : From : Subject : Date; bh=PnfPkNnSPk7exYR46xdIPBHMdxHjl6b3u7CQXBE/+CY=; b=Gh3Akc9pqzml3vRjVZ9TELO89Dsty4EKUt1vALU+RAvy0d4MZztREbCCGarrpJFAZYt2Ne fNSodwR1AG76Ew/NvV/pIIC2a960YlqHuGF5AEy8qnZv1xU0HXlqbd6x+mWf+JgOtOQRzuh9 kgs7g6ZiNX3P0aHRBPfbZt5wcgJFEjSXacvVlMcuJjaMtEScyz4Y4avVT+w4oUw3+PVV9PUG iqsU8YmUDU/IZkYEBIHyyW0SH/eFdDYE2sdASjtbLRUPoEkkE7xRYbP+HbdodyXl0LJ2ihMR 2zesY5Hwn6rK8YTY1zFZEM9+h7DySjqMAkTiBNK6lXshNqtwBDBCWpgw== X-Report-Abuse: SMTP.com is an email service provider.
