How did you do your upgrade ? I built mine from source, did you use the bin= ary upgrades ? I don't have time to try this again today, but might get a chance tomorrow. Will try a binary upgrade to 11.2 if thats what you did, and if that works = will then try a recompile from the source. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-virtualization@freebsd.org Thu Jul 12 10:45:18 2018 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-virtualization@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id AC53D102525E for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (mailman.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::50:5]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 40E3B89D83 for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) id EBAE31025252; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:17 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: virtualization@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D79F01025250 for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:3]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 18FC789D7F for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:17 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 55F0B26B8B for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:16 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id w6CAjGfV009270 for ; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:16 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id w6CAjG1X009269 for virtualization@FreeBSD.org; Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:16 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: virtualization@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 229712] no cts/rts for serial port in bhyve connected to serial port on host Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2018 10:45:16 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: misc X-Bugzilla-Version: 11.2-RELEASE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: linimon@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: virtualization@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: assigned_to Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-virtualization@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.27 Precedence: list List-Id: "Discussion of various virtualization techniques FreeBSD supports." I build a UFS machine the way you did, then binary upgrade to 11.2, then so= urce upgrade to STABLE. All fine. Then I copied the data to another disc, format= ted as a pool, so I have two identical drives, differing only in filesystem. The UFS derive boots fine, the ZFS one panics when it loads the mlx4en driv= er as we have seen before. The filesystem is not corrupt, so theres some odd interaction somewhere. Kind of worrying! By the way, I do have real hardware, with real Mellanox cards, which boost = fine from ZFS - but they are only ConnectX-2 cards. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
