I was surprised to find that the sandybridge (Xenon E5-2690) would not comp= ile for CPUTYPE?=3Dbonnell (this is intel atom N450) as the N450 is a lot (2010) ol= der. But the haswell compiles for CPUTYPE?=3Dbonnell fine. This is what made me wonder if there's some kind of fault with the Xenon E5-2690. Or maybe it just can't use CPUTYPE?=3D properly? Does its use require any special capability of the host chip? If I don't put any CPUTYPE?=3D in poudriere's make.conf on the Xenon,=20 everything compiles as expected without error. Maybe I should just do this = ;) *** although I'm going to continue compiling for btver1 on the haswell as t= he resulting system feels more responsive. thanks, --=20 J. --G4iJoqBmSsgzjUCe Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEE8n3tWhxW11Ccvv9/s8o7QhFzNAUFAl2ZLvUACgkQs8o7QhFz NAXeWg//T0ioLGizzQ4D9v2ak1LiQqmlt/bq16bmWUOOloCh74ZvRyoNGReFW1j6 5VWIczF/XGbA3uN3soLZ8RTVAlMh9TymZkBNllQRZIKUzdv0flTPuoGOnDw/DiI1 69jMElJp3OfEc1avP8nH2NGwCdyMFPS7eKWabAd92RAA6H6gYUXeboqOjDjALeGT ZekjUyBEnKdR/FgTxIFu8ZiMbL4ld7bbwU6KYMDeJ05eB7u1RuHhl0sfZz74x9pV mWQdgWFixi/8lI+Nt9YR0BuDp9ZwWyMYgBH+DsxIDsFdt3H6i7hYkQjupROnuU93 O5UGw7/8RB//8ZW8AD6D/gnhIYZN+yHU6yHnqtnYJlQFPXw7fgsDRE5jJeQ7GJuR PLw+dQx8bQlnYU8avuUzE0anKIN+mCa4IXGw5CHDayjcI/c+JwBiIqpnMDSTV7zZ iS8kkFEuIc3luKoUvaM0tbuU1k4K0xZDfDX4596lRo+tmbMX0znDlIm9ChV5I7DB 3izSoJm/XaoRiqOx1z3p0tKxliCFWpGSfNvreYC+bpikrx1rH5zdt+WVhVY4BWa1 ZXx68V5+hVrEb+hDCIiqfdW6PD2JCSlwYobYqS15TKT38z5qLp1zkT9mGOeltxPQ etKr6ELydbW9YihU8k0xZw0khA0a6QbpBX9gDl5QApGQLIEgTyw= =qQI+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --G4iJoqBmSsgzjUCe--
