The desired result is that when I add a Unix user, this user should be able to login to Jabber automatically without adding a separ= ate Jabber account (I use this feature in ejabberd). I've configured SASL auth in prosody.cfg.lua according to the documentation, but all I get is Mar 09 00:16:36 modulemanager error Unable to load module 'sasl_cyrus':= /usr/local/lib/prosody/modules/mod_sasl_cyrus.lua: No such file or directo= ry Mar 09 00:16:36 modulemanager error Error initializing module 'auth_cyr= us' on 'sibptus.ru': /usr/local/lib/prosody/util/startup.lua:145: module 'c= yrussasl' not found: no field package.preload['cyrussasl'] no file '/usr/local/lib/prosody/cyrussasl.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.2/cyrussasl.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.2/cyrussasl/init.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/cyrussasl.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/cyrussasl/init.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/prosody/cyrussasl.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/cyrussasl.so' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.2/loadall.so' I guess lua is missing the "cyrussasl" library but where do I get it? I could not find one in the ports. Nor does the net-im/prosody port have any configurable options to enable saslauthd support. --=20 Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ --uAKRQypu60I7Lcqm Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJeZS1dAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY0KIgH/iXqVhjNf03wl6tDZstkmZVi P3ML8sNBt7Az0/rtI8SGwPDoO8WQg/njr/IQBnlh45FL7qrnZdsa1MSOeTlZHSmW BcPzRRdBgMqiEit9lVDqzX4st8AUtwYXjG6yfjiW8Hzyu5uBxFvvLsIulFgrSxmm h2UtFBwkwiXjoq7IatLlvNoBia3cE1FGWNfLRjOrNsdzHL1w4ixHBH0VH9kLYk3A PtaziysDRi5OsdH2aQ68OVqp6CJuaRn1EPv0GA3DGOxXKVc4z11NHi1088AlJ20e NNwuoAmdmVgfNLsJfYsrOIIEkH5eRFEEd4DoVkojGvkzJ91tETJBwlBGvhBS/tw= =MLG7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --uAKRQypu60I7Lcqm-- From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Sun Mar 8 21:00:24 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB4072755BE for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48bDJm5W9sz4HGx for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id BD24C2755BD; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: net@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BCE522755BC for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 48bDJm4gWVz4HGn for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 9B83D27CB6 for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 028L0O2m093776 for ; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from bugzilla@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 028L0Oqi093775 for net@FreeBSD.org; Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Message-Id: <202003082100.028L0Oqi093775@kenobi.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: bugzilla set sender to bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org To: net@FreeBSD.org Subject: Problem reports for net@FreeBSD.org that need special attention Date: Sun, 8 Mar 2020 21:00:24 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.29 X-BeenThere: freebsd-net@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.29 Precedence: list List-Id: Networking and TCP/IP with FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 08 Mar 2020 21:00:24 -0000 To view an individual PR, use: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=(Bug Id). The log shown below is how to reproduce the problem using qjail(8). It's easy like xsan described, stopping VIMAGE jail by qjail. root@pcv01:~ # uname -a FreeBSD pcv01.sagamihara.i.paina.net 12.1-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p2 GENERIC amd64 root@pcv01:~ # pkg info | grep ^qjail qjail-5.4 Utility to quickly deploy and manage jails root@pcv01:~ # qjail create -4 10.8.0.128 test001 Successfully created test001 root@pcv01:~ # qjail config -w vmx0 -v none test001 Successfully enabled vnet.interface for test001 Successfully enabled vnet for test001 root@pcv01:~ # qjail start test001 Jail successfully started test001 root@pcv01:~ # qjail stop test001 (crash!) I'm using 12.1R on VMware ESXi and the virtual NIC is vmx(4). And I've found the system crashes when qjail try to destroy epairNa interfa= ce, so I've put 'sleep 1' to qjail before the destruction like: *** /usr/local/bin/qjail.ORG Wed Mar 4 20:13:14 2020 --- /usr/local/bin/qjail Wed Mar 11 01:16:33 2020 *************** *** 2350,2355 **** --- 2350,2356 ---- # Disable vnet jails network configuration. # vnetid=3D`echo -n "${vnet}" | awk -F "|" '{print $2}'`=20=20=20= =20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20 + sleep 1 # XXX: workaround ifconfig epair"${vnetid}"a destroy # If host has no more vnet jails then disable bridge. It seems to happen when destroying epairNa just after killing(stopping) jai= led process. Therefore, it can be reproduced by commands like: # jail -q -f /usr/local/etc/qjail.config/test001 -r test001; ifconfig epair= 1a destroy I'm not well on FreeBSD development, so I can't solve the problem alone. I hope somebody will fix it on future releases. I have IPv6 privacy extensions enabled (ipv6_privacy="YES" in /etc/rc.conf which sets net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr=1). Given my router and ISP (who supports IPv6), my machine's FreeBSD system assigns me 5 addresses through IPv6 autoconfiguration: link-local: fe80::% ULA: fd: ULA privacy: fd: Public: 2003:: Public privacy: 2003:: When I setup a static IPv6 address in the ULA range, such as (fd::2) and enable the "prefer_source" option (see man ifconfig), the "prefer_source" option is ignored. It seems that net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr=1 takes precedence. Calling sysctl net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr=0 fixes my problem but disables privacy extensions altogether (which I would like to keep enabled). Is it intended that "net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr" takes precedence over "prefer_source"? If yes, why? If yes, why? > > Yes, and the reason is that RFC 6724 specifies that behavior. I'm afraid my knowledge on IPv6 is not good enough yet to fully understand the RFC. Would "net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr" correspond to Rule 7 and "prefer_source" correspond to Rule 8 (that "MAY be superseded if the implementation has other means of choosing among source addresses")? > Why do you want to use fd::2 over fd: as the > default source address? I want to use fd::2 as the preferred address in order to always appear as fd::2 in my local network even if I change my network card. That address won't be used when I access the internet, even if it is preferred (see below). > If prefer_source takes precedence, the tempaddr will nerver be used. That depends on how "prefer_source" competes with other rules for source address selection. Even with current FreeBSD's behavior, if I disable privacy extensions, then for reaching hosts in the internet, 2003:: is used, and only for connections to my LAN, fd::2 (the address with "prefer_source") is used, i.e. the address with "prefer_source" set is NOT always used. Moreover, preferring temporary addresses over addresses marked with "prefer_source" doesn't seem to make much sense (even if the RFC would demand it). This is because it doesn't seem to make much sense to mark a temporary address as preferred. That assumed, the current behavior of FreeBSD effectivly renders "prefer_source" useless if net.inet6.ip6.prefer_tempaddr=1. > > -- Hiroki Regards, Jan Behrens From owner-freebsd-net@freebsd.org Sat Mar 14 19:44:47 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-net@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 800CF262329 for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (mailman.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:13]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 48ftLl2wJVz4M7X for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id 02864262328; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:47 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: net@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 01DAF262327 for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 48ftLj6yXxz4M50 for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:45 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 7055D23F2E for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:45 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 02EJij5w033592 for ; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:45 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from bugzilla@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 02EJijBf033591 for net@FreeBSD.org; Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:45 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: bugzilla set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: net@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 243126] iflib: Assertion fl->ifl_cidx == cidx failed at /usr/src/sys/net/iflib.c:2531 with if_vmx(4) Date: Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:45 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: CC AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: CURRENT X-Bugzilla-Keywords: crash, needs-qa X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: commit-hook@freebsd.org X-Bugzilla-Status: Open X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: net@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated MIME-Version: 1.0 X-BeenThere: freebsd-net@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.29 Precedence: list List-Id: Networking and TCP/IP with FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 14 Mar 2020 19:44:47 -0000 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D243126 --- Comment #9 from commit-hook@freebsd.org --- A commit references this bug: Author: pkelsey Date: Sat Mar 14 19:43:44 UTC 2020 New revision: 358995 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/base/358995 Log: Fix iflib freelist state corruption This fixes a bug in iflib freelist management that breaks the required correspondence between freelist indexes and driver ring slots. The driver has been hardened against the device skipping receive descriptors, although it is not believed that this can occur given the way this implementation configures the receive rings. Additionally, for packets received with the error indicator set, the driver now forces the length of all fragments in that packet to zero prior to passing it to iflib. Such packets should wind up being discarded at some point in the stack anyway, but this removes any questions by killing them in the driver. Counters have been added (and exposed via sysctls) for skipped receive descriptors, zero-length packets received, and packets received with the error indicator set so that these conditions can be easily observed in the field.
