It fails to boot from UEFI. My environment: - CPU: AMD Ryze 3900X - Mainboard: MSI MEG ACE X570, Default settings, latest BIOS 7C35v18 - RAM: G.Skill RipJaws V DIMM Kit 64GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-38 - GPU: Sapphire Nitro RX 5700XT Image was created on a Mac mini 2014 with the following procedure described and discussed In https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/howto-create-freebsd-usb-bootable-disk-from-a-mac.38774/. FreeBSD 11.3 release is not booting. It hangs after - Entering boot menu (BIOS) - selecting the proper entry - pressing enter - Messages from Boat loader from Image showing up I can see on the screen: … BootCurrent: 000b BootOrder 0003 0004 0009 000a 000b(*) 0001 0002 Failed to find bootable partition. I am able to use 12.1 RELEASE boot only iso image for an installation so my actual system setup should be fine in general. I have checked the Release Notes, Errata and bugzilla but found nothing obviously for my issue. I tested several USB sticks. No difference. The SHA256 checksum is ok. Is there an error on my doing or did I miss something? Could this still be an issue on my mainboard?
