List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 23 Nov 2020 03:14:34 -0000 Hi, I'd like to get some more testing of the new UEFI EDK2 port before I hopefully commit it next week. The diff can be downloaded from https://reviews.freebsd.org/D27230 (click "Download raw diff" on the right-hand side). It deletes the uefi-edk2-bhyve-devel port, copies the current uefi-edk2-bhyve port into uefi-edk2-bhyve-csm and makes it only build with CSM support, and updates the uefi-edk2-bhyve port to build with recent code from https://github.com/tianocore/edk2/tree/master/OvmfPkg/Bhyve . Both testing of the BhyveX64 firmware and review feedback on the port changes would be welcome. There's an upstream edk2-stable202011 tag coming up soon, and I'd like to fix any issues in time for that. -- Rebecca Cran From owner-freebsd-virtualization@freebsd.org Mon Nov 23 04:44:07 2020 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-virtualization@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9329647F91E for ; The approach I would consider taking for a wireless host is if the guest doesn't need direct access to the network just do a NAT network or a routed network and route through the wlan interface instead of trying to do bridging with it directly. --- Jason Barbier | E: jason@corrupted.io GPG: FD7D2D5F0A0FBE39 (https://keybase.io/kusuriya) On Fri, Nov 27, 2020, at 09:03, tech-lists wrote: > Hi, > > As subject: can a machine that only uses wlan0 for its connectivity > be a bhyve host?
