Please don't consider it fit for daily use yet. It is far from being perfect yet but if you are blessed it may be usable for a bit. I had a ping6 running for around 23 hours, been browsing the web or downloaded (though slowly) a FreeBSD release image. At other times while I was out it was entirely acting up. I just want to get the code out as-is and then give you an update every few days/week rather than letting you wait if there will be anything. It'll also give us a better understanding on what issues need most attention first. There's a wiki page detailing some of the things and I'll keep updating that and adding to it as things go on. https://wiki.freebsd.org/WiFi/Iwlwifi Lots of health, Bjoern From nobody Thu Jul 1 12:15:18 2021 X-Original-To: freebsd-wireless@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3D8F911D9098 for ; Thu, 1 Jul 2021 12:15:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bapt@FreeBSD.org) Received: from smtp.freebsd.org (smtp.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::24b:4]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "smtp.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4GFxxN1HDwz3jvq; Thu, 1 Jul 2021 12:15:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bapt@FreeBSD.org) Received: from aniel.nours.eu (nours.eu [176.31.115.77]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) (Authenticated sender: bapt) by smtp.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPSA id F1EDAC7BE; Thu, 1 Jul 2021 12:15:19 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bapt@FreeBSD.org) Received: by aniel.nours.eu (Postfix, from userid 1001) id 9F2535E82C; Thu, 1 Jul 2021 14:15:18 +0200 (CEST) Date: Thu, 1 Jul 2021 14:15:18 +0200 From: Baptiste Daroussin To: "Bjoern A. Would it be possible to work on a public git pushed somewhere? gitlab, github, codeberg, self hosted anything else? Which would allow to ease tracking it but also maybe contribute back. It would also ease rebasing and updating when needed.
