I think you have to specify 'kld_list=3D"radeonkms"' as the very f= irst line of rc.conf, otherwise I *think* the icing effect may happen again. Not too sure. Currently on BETA3 and I am back to a fully-working X11/Mate desktop. I sometimes get some minor graphical glitches when moving a Compiz-enabled window around, but that's extremely minor at this point. I = will leave it up to any developers on whether they want to keep this bug open. = This laptop will not be going back to 12.x anytime soon. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From owner-freebsd-x11@freebsd.org Fri Feb 26 06:40:23 2021 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-x11@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id BE4CF5579A4 for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4Dn0Qb4n6Mz4rWv for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id A219E55785D; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: x11@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A1E0F5578D0 for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4Dn0Qb44Wcz4rNL for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 7AD6025E1D for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 11Q6eNJj041127 for ; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 11Q6eNso041126 for x11@FreeBSD.org; Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: x11@FreeBSD.org Subject: maintainer-feedback requested: [Bug 253864] x11/linux-nvidia-libs, x11/nvidia-settings, x11/nvidia-xconfig: Update to 460.56 Date: Fri, 26 Feb 2021 06:40:23 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Type: request X-Bugzilla-Product: Ports & Packages X-Bugzilla-Component: Individual Port(s) X-Bugzilla-Version: Latest X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Only Me X-Bugzilla-Who: X-Bugzilla-Status: New X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: x11@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: maintainer-feedback?
