This problem resurrected by updating from commit 59beb5740e59a6ae50fa6c0fc9c1079d744b9089 to commit 100f2890786bdfa8df021654b530b0f749be46da within which contains commit f1f1a8be887ee2c5d75bec33cb8f8a89454e606b that updates devel/icu to 73.1 and massive bumps, including devel/qt5-core and www/qt5-webkit. Strangely, this happened for updates using poudriere-built pkgs on stable/1= 3, amd64 but on main, amd64, which is updated using pkg_replace for both build= and install has no problem. As before, finally, updating base helped on stable/13. Other possible workarounds described in previous comments didn't help just = as before. Possibly, some wrong infos are cleared and reconstructed on installworld? As a record, this time, I've updated main environment by pkg_replace -R devel/icu pkg_replace -f devel/qt5-qmake devel/qt5-buildtools devel/autotoos\* devel/libtool pkg_replace -a shutdown -r I was planning, if the problem happenes, to forcibly updating qt5-*, x11/libxkbcommon and *xcb*, but fortunately, these were not needed. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.= From nobody Sun Apr 16 06:53:29 2023 X-Original-To: multimedia@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4Pzgr93x9Bz44lJM for ; After updating my build jails from 13.1 to 13.2 I now get a similar segfault when seeking some files. 13.2 is using llvm 14. Hi all,
I am new to FreeBSD and I am in the= midst of setting up things the way I like them on my desktop. I have a str= ange USB headset that requires a special configuration on linux - pulseaudi= o includes this configuration, and I was wondering if there is a possibilit= y it can be done in FreeBSD.

Below is a descriptio= n of the device from the pulseaudio source code from this commit https://github.com/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/commit/814419cc3d7= 88acb9113a3d62c373deb1a911e75

| Steelseries Ar= ctis 7 USB headset mono output path. The headset has two
| output device= s. The first one is mono, meant for voice audio, and the
| second one is= stereo, meant for everything else. The purpose of this
| unusual design= is to provide separate volume controls for voice and
| other audio, whi= ch can be useful in gaming.
| This path doesn't provide hardw= are volume control, because the stereo
| output is controlled by the PCM= element with index 1, and currently
| PulseAudio only supports elements= with index 0.

The last sentence is what I am tryi= ng to achieve, somehow, so that I can control the volume.
I have already gone through all the sysctl's on the two pcm devi= ces, and messed with all the available mixer settings. My assumption is tha= t FreeBSD is doing what Linux was doing before the pulseaudio patch - not a= llowing "index 1" - whatever that means.

<= /div>
Thanks.

During usage you can run: virtual_oss_cmd /dev/vdsp.ctl -P /dev/dspX To change the playback device only, or -f to change both. Hi,

Maybe virtual_oss (my own invention) can solve your problem.

It allows you to create a virtual /dev/dsp device.

During usage you can run:

virtual_oss_cmd /dev/vdsp.ctl -P /dev/dspX

To change the playback device only, or -f to change both.
