The second hub has the other 4 disks. When I reboot the system I see (retyped from photo) All buffers synced. Then the system hangs. Within the not especially long limit of my patience there is no more output. No detach message for uhub5, uhub6, umass2, umass= 3, and umass4. I have failmode=3Dcontinue on this pool precisely to avoid having the system hang. There might be two bugs, shutdown order and failure to respect failmode=3Dcontinue. This is repeatable. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.= From nobody Tue Aug 22 04:14:08 2023 X-Original-To: usb@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4RVGFF1XZrz4qG8X for ; Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:09 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4RVGFF0K1dz4HDy for ; Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:09 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) ARC-Message-Signature: i=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1692677649; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: content-transfer-encoding:content-transfer-encoding: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=TpBWabTKsqCl/XyeZcY/MngLAZKxc0chxDUChpWERsc=; b=pOZBaBMVZYt7r0KpMa9B+NpNL9lRJgWR5LIkhgzpNBJroeB/a3YOOpaGsmbNGDQOQBTgCM V1vWv3U8OUfffZk08b6/cJlnTsNq+lsd39pqUe7I7+FyVGHrxup/466Srdn3xDaSkO0p8c foLYlqViPnzxMC+o4nH1dLyHxhwg2oqxp+sjuhDDo9TwaHBXpTh+ficEg5Tv39qFByePDd AU0G2d88KBMLi2LQrVf5oi0N2OIawUoXn9usbYAR2KIe/6T5kCV01czzIuw5QyElW2Ssaj lgpDCWO6S0oekHTjjOv0sYgtZcvHbJbSG4TJYt4mKX1aq1xsc1dh5xDOUTHsZA== ARC-Seal: i=1; s=dkim; d=freebsd.org; t=1692677649; a=rsa-sha256; cv=none; b=a061X2Hgh71gNutqsHEoushyJzHmMYEj7VuuBKJ/I0fld5PJZRdTRTcMm8bzSsAXUwSMZE 09vcKwFA/9Dbm29Qi9nr4puBUx7O5kcoApdbUE9mR4qNZDUw1npSuRvuTpnYDMx/UuvPdA OVB9qWegyBk13Izm3mHaTkchHBroAhsQhRT1ruxUX/x2h3bBLbKqClUGpqW0r4hsNfIJEh 65qLuVhU4dxzAGq4sUQFNU5sqOeDC5rtO3l/Tu7O2q4JCyFhqVE59E5lVdcz1hQ27rqg6R abCAkU6q2+TooVpauWOb3M0NTYXvzDLBQryyf8XAUJgVM1i25PypDyHO9jaCVA== ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx1.freebsd.org; none Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4RVGFD6VZqzpST for ; Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 37M4E8l6083055 for ; Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:08 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 37M4E8Qk083054 for usb@FreeBSD.org; Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:08 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: usb@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 167685] ZFS on USB drive prevents shutdown / reboot Date: Tue, 22 Aug 2023 04:14:08 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: CC X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Base System X-Bugzilla-Component: kern X-Bugzilla-Version: 13.2-STABLE X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Some People X-Bugzilla-Who: pi@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Status: Open X-Bugzilla-Resolution: X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: grahamperrin@freebsd.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: X-Bugzilla-Changed-Fields: resolution version cc bug_status Message-ID: In-Reply-To: References: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Bugzilla-URL: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/ Auto-Submitted: auto-generated List-Id: FreeBSD List-Archive: https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-usb List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: Sender: owner-freebsd-usb@freebsd.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-usb@freebsd.org MIME-Version: 1.0 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D167685 Kurt Jaeger changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|Overcome By Events |--- Version|9.0-STABLE |13.2-STABLE CC| |pi@FreeBSD.org Status|Closed |Open --- Comment #14 from Kurt Jaeger --- Seen again on 13.2-STABLE --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
