I have an update for almost all (but mt76 which is currently needing more things from LinuxKPI) queued to get all drivers up to the same level before 14.0/15 happens to make maintainance easier. I haven't forgotten you and was planning to email back once this happened. If you in the meantime want to try it out (but no guarantees on how it acts in main at this point) you want to apply somehting like this: % git show ab8fc547e7dd336bde8e8a29d52c2dcc9e141c4f commit ab8fc547e7dd336bde8e8a29d52c2dcc9e141c4f Author: Bjoern A. Hello Michał,

I think you should ask Lenovo support for the list of whitelisted cards for your model. Or search this information in their documents/message boards.

I had (almost) the same problem - the card of ThinkPad T530 was not working correctly (Centrino Advanced-N 6205). I bought second hand Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 FRU 60Y3233 card to replace it. This card works 'out-of-the-box' on FreeBSD.
I suppose that this card could work for you, so if you can find it at ebay (with a possibility to send back if something goes wrong) - you can try ;)

Best regards,
Peter

Hello

I am currently using AX200 card. As we all know FreeBSD is yet to properly support it. I want to buy some temporary Wi-Fi card to use, but the selection process is very problematic.

If I understand correctly, my laptop (Thinkpad X1 Extreme) is compatible with mSATA cards but most of the ones I found are not whitelisted in the bios by Lenovo. Moreover, I'd love the drivers not to be a blob (like for Intel) but open. This is also something I don't truly understand, so correct me if I'm wrong but if the driver is in /sys/dev of FreeBSD then it means the full driver is there, right?

But back to the problem: does anyone know of any mSATA Wi-Fi adapter that is working on Lenovo laptops under FreeBSD?
