I don't see any logs leading up to the problem state. Some details that may be interesting: multiple VNET jails, plus one VLAN. (Not a FreeBSD specific issue.) B) FreeBSD has not had all the kernel FDT work done to support the LX2160A(?) --or it is little tested(?). As I understand "sysutils/u-boot-master: Update to 2024.04" should mean that (A) is no longer true (but is was true for the prior 2024.01 usage). This should leave (B) as the primary issue for allowing a U-Boot based UEFI+FDT style of HoneyComb use. (B) could well involve things not involving dpaa2 usage via FDT. === Mark Millard marklmi at yahoo.com From nobody Sun Jun 2 16:18:20 2024 X-Original-To: freebsd-arm@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4Vshqc5J7cz5N1Mm for ; Sun, 02 Jun 2024 16:18:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bzeeb-lists@lists.zabbadoz.net) Received: from mx1.sbone.de (cross.sbone.de [195.201.62.131]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "mx1.sbone.de", Issuer "SBone.DE Root Certificate Authority" (not verified)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4VshqZ6Mp9z4H4G for ; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:34 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bzeeb-lists@lists.zabbadoz.net) Authentication-Results: mx1.freebsd.org; dkim=none; dmarc=none; spf=pass (mx1.freebsd.org: domain of bzeeb-lists@lists.zabbadoz.net designates 195.201.62.131 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=bzeeb-lists@lists.zabbadoz.net Received: from mail.sbone.de (mail.sbone.de [IPv6:fde9:577b:c1a9:4902:0:7404:2:1025]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ADH-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by mx1.sbone.de (Postfix) with ESMTPS id BE54B8D4A126; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:26 +0000 (UTC) Received: from content-filter.t4-02.sbone.de (content-filter.t4-02.sbone.de [IPv6:fde9:577b:c1a9:4902:0:7404:2:2742]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (No client certificate requested) by mail.sbone.de (Postfix) with ESMTPS id DCE132D029D8; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:25 +0000 (UTC) X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at sbone.de Received: from mail.sbone.de ([IPv6:fde9:577b:c1a9:4902:0:7404:2:1025]) by content-filter.t4-02.sbone.de (content-filter.t4-02.sbone.de [IPv6:fde9:577b:c1a9:4902:0:7404:2:2742]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id QM4tLbC2YcEk; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:21 +0000 (UTC) Received: from strong-iwl0.sbone.de (strong-iwl0.sbone.de [IPv6:fde9:577b:c1a9:4902:b66b:fcff:fef3:e3d2]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (No client certificate requested) by mail.sbone.de (Postfix) with ESMTPSA id 1C61A2D029D2; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:20 +0000 (UTC) Date: Sun, 2 Jun 2024 16:18:20 +0000 (UTC) From: "Bjoern A. In general dpaa2 workes with both ACPI and FDT so... Unfortunately, even if someone committed draft kernel updates that might be needed (non-dpaa2) and someone else committed a draft sysutils/u-boot-honeycomb as well, my current personal context means that I'd not likely to be involved for many months, even in just testing such. Also, my use of EtherNet is very simple, not getting into things dpaa2 is designed to enable beyond basic 1Gbit/s EtherNet. So, even if I was testing, the range of dpaa2 configurations involved would be rather minimal compared to dpaa2's range of possibilities. Relative to FreeBSD generally, for now I'm in more of a monitoring/reading mode than anything else. =3D=3D=3D Mark Millard marklmi at yahoo.com From nobody Sun Jun 2 21:00:53 2024 X-Original-To: freebsd-arm@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4Vsq5L39nmz5LC3N for ; Sun, 02 Jun 2024 21:00:54 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4Vsq5L0tc1z4nfH for ; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:54 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) ARC-Seal: i=1; s=dkim; d=freebsd.org; t=1717362054; a=rsa-sha256; cv=none; b=V5gqcq3ULVJmzvvgsFQdXAviYm9lnwaxDovGlm+hkiwWtkYZcu3saqfmEprHz9P5scg31T IroJeRbmt9bzxdwY0yP0x7XIXHShyBORCFa36vgN9ejv2hRAIkEv8qO57A8Mpi02um0+R0 CYo8Iv8bjLt6c6oyc1NKbZdjj8Tx7DL1hRM0kC8nygT2ZXRSpcQaNE0as3/VlHzpK8qKYM NQyTn3AoSxFx3sBu+SD+9pbRIbmNy/etaNCgXAIwKexg/MCYJkm+wCEgvlGL5o+XyEBhwe 2kQDHLEC+bXxc2j3p+O4Qb0bmyTYG0oDVWpS8EbrpwpZJCFiE5c5sl8kZ4rzlg== ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx1.freebsd.org; none ARC-Message-Signature: i=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1717362054; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: content-transfer-encoding:content-transfer-encoding; bh=gBhCrBbyd+vSB/aO74qS1Ksfk1lLQuQHRz02p30IlTs=; b=oYKopRdksuoHt8jJ4leIONH4IJFvFf6mYiC/k+VJLlxIlaZGUEebFGFCXNNdsSXlgG1a9T DHYmjp3sznxYBRZWHlC5LtlyImeKU5NfDxvB7wA5hePubkqv5GvLA2P2tOl9Z9ATIBA8UR /i58+xjV1ybw9YVa+1S0W1RYmFV+h1oGrKuY309YvDdV2OQTvl/X/NXc18iGrNPsqp60yl 8umXyMMvMfbA4hg8fgzv6RAUh9jxhH0PmRjVy835LS4MTuxTOlaAgLQ4N6fAS98p/O1JjA zt54vtM81TKIETp3jtm1GCTqqgLIzu9nPM0kWbnlHO0uJbVEGEzv8iQ//VccHA== Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4Vsq5L0TvXz15fd for ; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:54 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 452L0r1R095442 for ; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:53 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from bugzilla@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 452L0rXw095437 for freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.org; Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:53 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org) Message-Id: <202406022100.452L0rXw095437@kenobi.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: bugzilla set sender to bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@FreeBSD.org To: freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.org Subject: Problem reports for freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.org that need special attention Date: Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:53 +0000 List-Id: Porting FreeBSD to ARM processors List-Archive: https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-arm List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: Sender: owner-freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="17173620532.1BA21.86741" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit --17173620532.1BA21.86741 Date: Sun, 2 Jun 2024 21:00:53 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" To view an individual PR, use: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=(Bug Id).
