https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D278351 Daniel Engberg <diizzy@FreeBSD.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |diizzy@FreeBSD.org --- Comment #1 from Daniel Engberg <diizzy@FreeBSD.org> --- Hi, Back in January we switched to CMake as we've been "maintaining" local GNU Autotools patches for years and no one has offered to upstream or maintain = our local patches. All known issues have been fixed and upstreamed however ther= e's currently no support for building both shared and static libraries simultaneously in upstream code.=20 The quick 'n dirty hack is to add BUILD_SHARED_LIBS to https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/tree/textproc/libxml2/Makefile#n29 which will generate a static library in the work dir. Currently it's not high priority and patches are welcome (please submit upstream). Best regards, Daniel --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
