On 14-STABLE and CURRENT hosts updating and installing ports the traditional way with a up-to-date ports-tree and portmaster/make the same. I do not know whether there are more ports out failing than the reported re= dis and apache24, both ports got an update recently so the failure hit our nextcloud and icinga2 services where those ports are installed and also get= ting an update. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.= From nobody Sat Apr 6 08:44:08 2024 X-Original-To: pkg@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4VBTRY1tKpz5G9LH for ; Sat, 6 Apr 2024 08:44:09 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4VBTRX74Gjz4D9r for ; Sat, 6 Apr 2024 08:44:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) ARC-Seal: i=1; s=dkim; d=freebsd.org; t=1712393049; a=rsa-sha256; cv=none; b=eIjlSGkuI7CyVoLfTCq5dtMMWXGudbLN7g/G/e+J2+kV44FE2oe9NGdoNyCZ13R47/TQgp KJ8QX01VW0VC3HHUL9xmlJNlugHgDEA9WB5dIPvbke9NJ28LC0+1NBTGyrEs3K7nf4meWr D1POfEs3XIVzbI+1dT43RTUrluzb44c/gJrXkuKlk6IEY5KK8DE/LTJDBubCSR6fHkZWak PF8ebYXB1mlZr8uBc0YlyhdO6pZeN+EKJCOdCaWIwGtD78xMPvbxLhfTgbrfx8yowBBrl8 53ZbAdhk3XCrrPDsaUEbRrF5TzDamwqTI65gm0rWu+RHEqSkt+ukHnsOSO5vkA== ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx1.freebsd.org; none ARC-Message-Signature: i=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1712393049; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: content-transfer-encoding:content-transfer-encoding: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=AIqncoYO1RjhTTVcKBwW20EXo6R7hjgcmVxpfOya4po=; b=oZnZrCzTiBZOegt6H4LKj/N+pMZq+p8Ddy1PFpjf5nQ1uNSafsw3IrhTuXEnGgNo/NZ5Di htjpDtFVZJqU/bI3R50njkq9m8PK+cXUfhGlzycQCe7NfyqQx3SMf77zB7eiBPmbdJQ2h6 kkJedDRkJpXnOsjzJKBFa19Xjv8MbHuxOw+i4ihti8031se7o6LyM3qphe31M6REeaenxM H0wZ6ziF1hteOrfbfpBASuOqSL8Yrs8KgideTn3Ucql2bztjK4lK0CF8Z9k1Eq6V96uGfi ZB5tmlOaKZ7Q5MwQJb8oeIaRq/JLUYM+2FgFrxDftqtO+iH5ja1uTUravkJ6mQ== Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:1d]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4VBTRX6gxHzd69 for ; Sat, 6 Apr 2024 08:44:08 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.5]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id 4368i8cN072192 for ; Sat, 6 Apr 2024 08:44:08 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: (from www@localhost) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id 4368i8d2072185 for pkg@FreeBSD.org; Sat, 6 Apr 2024 08:44:08 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) X-Authentication-Warning: kenobi.freebsd.org: www set sender to bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org using -f From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: pkg@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 278190] ports-mgmt/pkg: 1.21.0 renders core dumps on some ports Date: Sat, 06 Apr 2024 08:44:08 +0000 X-Bugzilla-Reason: AssignedTo X-Bugzilla-Type: changed X-Bugzilla-Watch-Reason: None X-Bugzilla-Product: Ports & Packages X-Bugzilla-Component: Individual Port(s) X-Bugzilla-Version: Latest X-Bugzilla-Keywords: X-Bugzilla-Severity: Affects Many People X-Bugzilla-Who: ohartmann@walstatt.org X-Bugzilla-Status: Closed X-Bugzilla-Resolution: Not A Bug X-Bugzilla-Priority: --- X-Bugzilla-Assigned-To: pkg@FreeBSD.org X-Bugzilla-Flags: maintainer-feedback? There are more ports affected, I hit them by chance, like www/apache24 databases/redis net/openldap26-server misc/e2fsprogs-libuuid The problem isn't specifically to a single host, it is common on several bo= xes running CURRENT. I also saw this issue after updating pkg from 1.20.9_1 -> 1.21.0 on a 14-STABLE at the lab. Phenomenon: Neither portmaster nor traditional "make" does work properly: i= f a port is to be updated, deleting the old port in favor to be updated with the new port fails and pkg-static dumps a core. Last port which triggered this misbehaviour was=20 misc/e2fsprogs-libuuid I had to patch the port's Makefile first to apply "${SETENVI} ${MAKE_ENV}" = to build-tags to make the port build again (there is an error when using portmaster for ports utilizing gmake).
