Can we just switch to https://github.com/freebsd/kyua as the upstream? jmmv/kyua has not gotten any new development or bug fixes in a long time, and I cannot see any other places where kyua development is ongoing. > Kind regards, > Moin From nobody Tue Jan 2 01:37:01 2024 X-Original-To: freebsd-testing@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4T3wSp2yLxz55qnw for ; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 01:37:14 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) Received: from smtp.freebsd.org (smtp.freebsd.org [96.47.72.83]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "smtp.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4T3wSp2RCpz4G8f; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 01:37:14 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1704159434; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=VQLnz3/wfv2d4iUENPvJ9ktgqW6N2uJKwfpoVhWcaUU=; b=c2QHN4VICb60Fppo+K5j+/isfPjkdX7xyM6I5XfQh0Eyoi9Gx/KSOVbPTzSDPgyFHydY2o wxAVnfiTurPJ6YqnepyMjgtfWOl/KH9VT6SYR+gsDEwyuyPEfQABlUktT82qiYBEk9/BqL h7wJ5Br4DLKfCWWjgZ83Mn1yToZ9TkKVg6rJqxr05ffysSDAk9+M7XKaY8ycwHAE4FZGTn ZWe/h5IRVHQpoagZSkqE3ClCm2cMufgm1q1BZoiwQTmLWd93wLuLallMpg8ialjo8gHl9T alV9q+iGYbsfqIhcCuMUJVCrVyJfsm6pVfpP9QXkGsCUXOIbB5WuEhvFYQ5mww== ARC-Seal: i=1; s=dkim; d=freebsd.org; t=1704159434; a=rsa-sha256; cv=none; b=CgPmqD6gj50SXfNk0HgCFXdNKGYHRpb5NenOu60xQdXdPaaqpcrONCeJp/hQL5IfhQI3SJ 4DczOZrDPDr2kOZUlp6XSnUiln0cd3eKfXFG80BDMUyWf+5nou3wmVmqlb7aJrqSFrnQpF yTBZYMxnHFP4acTSlcmj9tXn9D0pZs/nssi+AUVX0OWU3UKgp5lV/pAmnyr85jF6TyFSpG u7tO8uEmcj9yHL7Z2bJuC+P8R7D2rgykuIY1IqIYiDf25YbA8pmU6MGmX3lKqVYazRIeRr cdAWw67IQRbrr/BjveS0KqxveRXNUEU9NzqsmHefUfFne3eXmx60WV/G+THw0A== ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx1.freebsd.org; none ARC-Message-Signature: i=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1704159434; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=VQLnz3/wfv2d4iUENPvJ9ktgqW6N2uJKwfpoVhWcaUU=; b=Mzv1GMknHfTMq+vK34wsoml8pNAvc2h75TLMLIQHWsVtR9IDYns8xFocd9jQhQwVH058X6 0qR0hV8sKBxhoEnicqGQA5rjDjx3lKBmzQnsuJWflecmlkuuvwR7yZw/GVeSWdy/0LN4u3 4hjvx7Y625++u3fzf6WFgBw87mf+ZfrC9OZVDIbJP5rCC39mWIiOhZHvTbHXRljwgR833H YplBJMv74ZBE9lcFgojycW/L7EQjnMpopgAo37+4TfCvFegXCvye3+4Y64exNcnaagZydX Flw/uql1oBsqEyv8r0ehU6CDEaEB1rYvNqO2XQBLeWDwPI2G5M/O16xumy052w== Received: from mx.bofh.network (mx.bofh.network [5.9.249.227]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) (Authenticated sender: bofh/mail) by smtp.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPSA id 4T3wSn66QMz1QfY; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 01:37:13 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) Received: from smtpclient.apple ( [217.117.226.147]) by mx.bofh.network (OpenSMTPD) with ESMTPSA id 1aa062be (TLSv1.2:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256:NO); Tue, 2 Jan 2024 01:37:12 +0000 (UTC) Content-Type: multipart/signed; boundary="Apple-Mail=_59493F61-3004-4237-BE3C-F84F4D07C795"; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; micalg=pgp-sha512 List-Id: Testing List-Archive: https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-testing List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: Sender: owner-freebsd-testing@freebsd.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-testing@freebsd.org Mime-Version: 1.0 (Mac OS X Mail 16.0 \(3731.700.6\)) Subject: Re: new kyua import From: Moin Rahman In-Reply-To: Date: Tue, 2 Jan 2024 02:37:01 +0100 Cc: freebsd-testing@freebsd.org Message-Id: <73A08DFD-F4FA-41A4-9F9D-772962F27397@freebsd.org> References: <6F793310-839A-426A-9B90-AAAEB57929CF@freebsd.org> To: Mark Johnston X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.3731.700.6) --Apple-Mail=_59493F61-3004-4237-BE3C-F84F4D07C795 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii > On Jan 2, 2024, at 2:35 AM, Mark Johnston wrote: > > On Tue, Jan 02, 2024 at 02:29:38AM +0100, Moin Rahman wrote: >> >> >>> On Jan 2, 2024, at 2:23 AM, Mark Johnston wrote: >>> >>> Hi, >>> >>> It looks like the kyua repo here has received a number of bug fixes >>> since kyua was last re-imported back into the base system. I don't use kyua from the ports tree (and I don't think our jenkins does either) but other folks may be interested in the update. We still need someone to do the import into the src tree. I can try but I'm not experienced with vendor imports, and I don't particularly want to change that. :) From nobody Tue Jan 2 02:26:49 2024 X-Original-To: freebsd-testing@mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mlmmj.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4T3xZJ0vF6z55xJs for ; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 02:27:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) Received: from smtp.freebsd.org (smtp.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::24b:4]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256 client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "smtp.freebsd.org", Issuer "R3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 4T3xZJ0Q2Dz4M4t; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 02:27:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1704162424; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=OokgD2dtOQZnRVwo0YgWgnoZ3ejBO/PSrmNK4V0QS4M=; b=k6pqqcY5lVcxouK1atRvDRMAmANq3X+2pkwlT+dN/p91meS3YsXEngnowGl33q7TkGF6VL SXSfoW5H2I+Aafw3Pg2GOAe14kQIG6wkPUT/Q6pjHknmbZXkJQS0OtdciMlHfG/sj75YE1 ANAwfxGRSHJa2+D+vG4Gku98XarKOtinEKH7tvcEgFhS24h06JozTsdvxFy8+KyYd1A1p2 Ytdh/nWtjnPrGeCpPafFbNiB+ICssBZfUsngP3LZDC+qQAnbwu7xncx+m22excWZEuCVHJ HB30Ot5brrLgw0xfrACcAo65KhIPrxb62JGHAA1jj1VGjcLpZawaTUWKGUSxEQ== ARC-Seal: i=1; s=dkim; d=freebsd.org; t=1704162424; a=rsa-sha256; cv=none; b=qKrBOdrok39R6JgTTL+4wXLxJAC4rE1gdhSY7cplnVZJiXdqlsLmaFb0S4zlW4NkDBI3c5 U1z/FaaqbHMCrXkktJmz48Mf6OQPTdNf9zu6llCYwxvQ0UgRrwA+MZGbPviRwiJ/WIwyV7 WXcMV/n0+etqiLdBPPWKrulUDDMqZF2nD2Hj+lNbJOxhm1260UuQKMCM0WdhajdpnAGNJ+ DggOGgpD5zi0dh5Mupl9UvM39Nm7nckAD3Ulfe8NgQMbsw6u4ew4SXN7WR12kDKO+yDzBp VEe8ceqRDMHHinRYDhgFrsY7kJwq/KjyLSClqj88qlWxhDJYnFVW0KmSKEcAKw== ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx1.freebsd.org; none ARC-Message-Signature: i=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=freebsd.org; s=dkim; t=1704162424; h=from:from:reply-to:subject:subject:date:date:message-id:message-id: to:to:cc:cc:mime-version:mime-version:content-type:content-type: in-reply-to:in-reply-to:references:references; bh=OokgD2dtOQZnRVwo0YgWgnoZ3ejBO/PSrmNK4V0QS4M=; b=omX44IoseMQemfb0sfG/XLQAeJ3NbfARBDnhewtAZL2gXaSijTZsXzVzpyj8fA5jWOKcro HA92kXXmZuGdnc1qRjBLjGQyU7SnQq2SnclqAJTajVkj+gQctZuJwgs1uJQlfTKOQoUi84 1pgSgV7hiZ4dreRoEANNLGnbfBhdNg6MMBQNKTb1OZnWA04LH3i8khptDKQxGYlhu/E9Le qdfUrlndkiiK99mg+Okv4Krg2xwAkLXPfsDERdhL31RCpJxVO40BRCZZjHXhj5m34vpUP7 7oc1A/DM//RuhuJEItSFpMVcOkbDnHoVMoaNArhhj7yhh+5gQU4BVAC5dCKZsA== Received: from mx.bofh.network (mx.bofh.network [5.9.249.227]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) key-exchange X25519 server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) server-digest SHA256) (Client did not present a certificate) (Authenticated sender: bofh/mail) by smtp.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPSA id 4T3xZH46ydz1RGn; Tue, 2 Jan 2024 02:27:03 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bofh@freebsd.org) Received: from smtpclient.apple ( [217.117.226.147]) by mx.bofh.network (OpenSMTPD) with ESMTPSA id c358ca5d (TLSv1.2:ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256:NO); Tue, 2 Jan 2024 02:27:00 +0000 (UTC) Content-Type: multipart/signed; boundary="Apple-Mail=_8300562B-AF35-4250-934A-A8D7C19F601E"; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; micalg=pgp-sha512 List-Id: Testing List-Archive: https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-testing List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: Sender: owner-freebsd-testing@freebsd.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-testing@freebsd.org Mime-Version: 1.0 (Mac OS X Mail 16.0 \(3731.700.6\)) Subject: Re: new kyua import From: Moin Rahman In-Reply-To: Date: Tue, 2 Jan 2024 03:26:49 +0100 Cc: freebsd-testing@freebsd.org Message-Id: <4059A36A-278C-475A-B2FA-BC058704BC6C@freebsd.org> References: <6F793310-839A-426A-9B90-AAAEB57929CF@freebsd.org> <73A08DFD-F4FA-41A4-9F9D-772962F27397@freebsd.org> To: Mark Johnston X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.3731.700.6) --Apple-Mail=_8300562B-AF35-4250-934A-A8D7C19F601E Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii > On Jan 2, 2024, at 2:41 AM, Mark Johnston wrote: > > On Tue, Jan 02, 2024 at 02:37:01AM +0100, Moin Rahman wrote: >> >> >>> On Jan 2, 2024, at 2:35 AM, Mark Johnston wrote: >>> >>> On Tue, Jan 02, 2024 at 02:29:38AM +0100, Moin Rahman wrote: >>>> >>>> >>>>> On Jan 2, 2024, at 2:23 AM, Mark Johnston wrote: >>>>> >>>>> Hi, >>>>> >>>>> It looks like the kyua repo here has received a number of bug fixes >>>>> since kyua was last re-imported back into the base system. It's easy importing but I need someone to review it. As it is totally a seperate tree it is difficult to submit the review itself. Although the commit for the merge might be submitted for the review. Although the commit > for the merge might be submitted for the review. You can upload arbitrary diffs to phabricator, so you could diff the tree before and after the merge and upload the resulting patch. And maybe push the merge somewhere to let others take a look and verify that it appears to be done correctly. I'm also happy to test the import (probably not until late this week though).
