Now, enabling the Trunk VF mode is done by adding a new parameter = to the network card driver registry parameter branch. https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/winof2v25150020/ethernet+network= #src-3576232145_EthernetNetwork-ConfiguringtheTrunkModeforVF HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002b= e10318}\*index* Add parameter name 'TrunkModeForVfEnabled' type 'dword' value '1'. An additional parameter is the range of vlans, parameter name 'TrunkModeForVfMaxVlans' type 'dword' (default value which is '1000') and is range from '1' to '4094'. Now I'm seeing several of these in bhyve.log: "Emulating non-existing memory access to 0x81013814c" ... and the guest Win10 VM stays working - so I'd consider this a working f= ix. Looking at the source for vmexit.c I now understand that the instruction sequence error is just an artifact of the VM exiting due to the unhandled memory access. That would explain why the instructions look very normal and also I'm guessing need no further investigation? The partial solution is to ask the qemu poc and development what the CPU machine parameters would equal the physical CPU. If that is not available, then the virtualization would need to be the most recent CPU software translation. I thought about this; and, you would also need to study what the Xen project did. If you could find a work around for the hypervisor problem on the Cell CPU, then you could test on any PlayStation 3 that still has the other os function. I am aware that the FreeBSD hackers list usually are i386/ and64 hackers; yet, some may have experience withRISC architectures. --000000000000d5ebb306342dbb29 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable In the source code of BHyve, there is a reference to qemu. Hello Bjoern,

Don't know= if its related but my AX201 wireless card stop working on win11 bhyve pass= thru.

Ok found it; was a local SI_SUB running at the wrong level.=C2=A0 After I lowered memory to 2GB things went into an endless (yes endless) loop of
kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled but the boot had continues
further already so the log file gave the hint.

Now I need to figure out why my PCI passthru device does not show up.

Hello Bjoern,

Don'= t know if its related but my AX201 wireless card stop working on win11 bhyv= e passthru.
It connects at first, I see it in router interfac= e and I was abble to ping it for a few secs.
It disconnects a= ffter minutes and don't come back anymore.

It runs OK= on debian and openbsd.

I'm running this passtrhu for= more than a year without issues until now (recent main).

Cheers,

Ok found it; was a local SI_SUB running at the wrong level.=C2=A0 After I lowered memory to 2GB things went into an endless (yes endless) loop of
kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled but the boot had continues
further already so the log file gave the hint.

Now I need to figure out why my PCI passthru device does not show up.
