(for those not in the know, vile is a vi-workalike i've been writing and maintaining for a number of years now.) what's the protocol at this stage? does someone just volunteer to try this? the two directories are tarred together, and can be picked up from id.wing.net, in /pub/pgf/freebsd/freebsd-vile-ports.tar.gz. one problem i know of is that although my makefiles can assume a $PREFIX for helping to install the binaries, the pkg/PLIST file cannot. so i probably got the final destination for xvile wrong in the PLIST file. let me know what else i can do to help. paul (my email address during the day is pgf@mgate.lotus.com -- you might reply to both that and the address below for quickest response...) --------------------- paul fox, pgf@foxharp.boston.ma.us (arlington, ma) From owner-freebsd-ports Wed Feb 22 08:46:19 1995 Return-Path: ports-owner Received: (from majordom@localhost) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.9/8.6.6) id IAA21472 for ports-outgoing; Wed, 22 Feb 1995 08:46:19 -0800 Received: from cabri.obs-besancon.fr (cabri.obs-besancon.fr [193.52.184.3]) by freefall.cdrom.com (8.6.9/8.6.6) with SMTP id IAA21464 for ; Wed, 22 Feb 1995 08:46:16 -0800 Received: by cabri.obs-besancon.fr (5.57/Ultrix3.0-C) id AA18390; Wed, 22 Feb 95 17:45:05 +0100 Date: Wed, 22 Feb 95 17:45:05 +0100 From: jmz@cabri.obs-besancon.fr (Jean-Marc Zucconi) Message-Id: <9502221645.AA18390@cabri.obs-besancon.fr> To: ports@FreeBSD.org Subject: ImageMagick X-Mailer: Emacs Sender: ports-owner@FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Why is this port in the print directory?
