I've installed FreeBSD Release 2.1.0 on my P6. I'd like to use my machine as the web server. I've read the handbook but I don't know how to do it? I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to install FreeBSD compatible web server. Which one is good on my machine? Which one is good on my machine? I'm biased since i'm using the Apache server myself, but you'll find at least this one in the ports collection. Get the full documentat- ion for it, it's also available as a pre-formatted PostScript file. Apache does also have a mirror server in Poland. Have a look at http://www.apache.org/ to get the URL for it. -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-) From owner-freebsd-install Sat Jan 27 21:00:48 1996 Return-Path: owner-install Received: (from root@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.7.3/8.7.3) id VAA24787 for install-outgoing; Sat, 27 Jan 1996 21:00:48 -0800 (PST) Received: from time.cdrom.com (time.cdrom.com [192.216.222.226]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.7.3/8.7.3) with SMTP id VAA24777 for ; Sat, 27 Jan 1996 21:00:46 -0800 (PST) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by time.cdrom.com (8.6.12/8.6.9) with SMTP id UAA05735; Sat, 27 Jan 1996 20:59:40 -0800 To: eistal@cyf-kr.edu.pl cc: freebsd-install@freebsd.org Subject: Re: How to install WWW In-reply-to: Your message of "Fri, 26 Jan 1996 23:39:18 GMT." <199601262243.XAA14022@kinga.cyf-kr.edu.pl> Date: Sat, 27 Jan 1996 20:59:39 -0800 Message-ID: <5723.822805179@time.cdrom.com> From: "Jordan K.
