It looks nicer, but I suppose there are a few who have a personal preference about not indirecting through freebsd.org, perhaps? I always wondered why some chose to be deliberately different (a few were added as @freebsd.org but changed their entries with subsequent commits). The author's list is for people whose names are attached to particular handbook sections...since some have their name in many places, the entity definition just ensures consistency and makes addresses changes easier (@freebsd.org addresses are not necessary). Since there isn't any single formatted author listing, these people should appear in the submitters section as well; using the entity defined in authors.sgml is recommended. -john From owner-cvs-doc Mon Oct 6 21:40:49 1997 Return-Path: Received: (from root@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.7/8.8.7) id VAA25073 for cvs-doc-outgoing; Mon, 6 Oct 1997 21:40:49 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from owner-cvs-doc) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.FreeBSD.ORG [204.216.27.21]) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.7/8.8.7) with ESMTP id VAA25048; Mon, 6 Oct 1997 21:40:31 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from obrien@FreeBSD.org) From: "David E.
