If I issue the following command , sgmlfmt -d docbook -f ps at1.docb the following error is produced. Error: Could not locate specified transfile When I issue the following command: sgmlfmt -d docbook -f html at1.docb The expected html source file is produced. The following file I believe to be one required one for sgml -> html conversion. /usr/share/sgml/transpec/docbook-html.ts My question is : Where can I find the necessary files that will enable me to produce .ps files from .docb input files. In my /usr/share/sgml/docbook/ directory I have the following files: cals-tbl.dtd dbhier.mod docbook.dcl dbgenent.mod dbpool.mod docbook.dtd And in /usr/share/sgml/transpec/ the following files can be found: docbook-html.ts linuxdoc-html.ts roff.sdata html.cmap linuxdoc-roff.ts transpec.dtd html.sdata roff.cmap All this is run under FreeBSD 2.2-STABLE. and the DOCTYPE declaration is as follows, Received: (from root@localhost) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) id QAA21241 for doc-outgoing; Mon, 9 Jun 1997 16:31:52 -0700 (PDT) Received: from tshansen.reshall.ucsd.edu (tshansen.reshall.ucsd.edu [128.54.193.22]) by hub.freebsd.org (8.8.5/8.8.5) with ESMTP id QAA21230 for ; Mon, 9 Jun 1997 16:31:42 -0700 (PDT) Received: from tshansen.reshall.ucsd.edu (localhost.ucsd.EDU [127.0.0.1]) by tshansen.reshall.ucsd.edu (8.8.5/8.8.3) with SMTP id QAA00440 for ; Mon, 9 Jun 1997 16:31:34 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: <339C9254.446B9B3D@sdcc10.ucsd.edu> Date: Mon, 09 Jun 1997 16:31:32 -0700 From: "Todd S. I could write it, but my attempt to do it was almost wholely unsuccessful. In other words, I was able to add the file system, but only after losing a lot of disk space for some reason. I'd be interested, but I'm not sure if I'd be of use. I don't have much material to demonstrate (the new ppp doc in -current ?) and work through my own company (UK based). We can discuss it if you think I'd be of interested to you. > Jordan -- Brian , Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
