I wanted to give localusers (loggin in either with their username
or via anonymous ftp (either as user ftp or anonymous) a different
banner/welcome.msg but can't get it working.

Anyone familar with wu-ftpd's ftpaccess syntax?

Here is my first attempt:

/usr/local/etc/ftpaccess:

class   all   real,guest,anonymous  *
class localusers real,anonymous  137.226.*.*

limit   all   64   Any              /etc/msgs/msg.dead

readme  README*    login
readme  README*    cwd=*

message /etc/welcome.msg            login
message /etc/welcome_local.msg            localusers
message .message                cwd=*

compress        yes             all local remote
tar             yes             all local remote

log commands real
log transfers anonymous,real inbound,outbound

shutdown /etc/shutmsg
loginfails 1
