Yea, so I do my own implementation of AppletContext (it is an interface), and put this stuff in showDocument() ... This Java Runtime Environment is the 'official' FreeBSD one (correct me if I'm wrong anyone). It works well and I haven't noticed any problems at all (apart from a few AWT things under X). > 2. when I try to use tar zxvpf ... on the above downloadit does not > extract all files; tar gives a message that it is skipping the next > header. Is there a remedy for this? Download the file in binary mode? I don't know, I just checked the master file, and it works for me. Maybe your browser corrupted the file, or auto-uncompressed it or something.
