(I'm Changhoon from Korea. Do you remember me ? I'm the man who has consulted ForeRunnerLE25 problem with you a few days before.) First of all, thanks a lot for your reply and help. But, I've met another problem after having modified "nicstar.c" and rebuilt my kernel ! (your recommendation was this : removing out source codes from line 590 to 601 of /pci/nicstar.c, right ?) My new kernel which has been obtained by removing those lines, does not work correctly. I can not boot my machine with the new kernel since the kernel image always halts during its booting sequence. The kernel always stops working at SCSI device settling point. I guess that this problem results from ATM NIC's incomplete initialization. How about your opinion ? Any solutions ? For your convenience, I attach an error-free kernel's "dmesg" result and mark the point where the new kernel halts. TIA and bye ! Changhoon. ==================================================== %dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-1999 FreeBSD Inc. Copyright (c) 1982, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993 The Regents of the University of California.
