Customers recently started complaining they could not download their email. We eliminated client software issues. Cannot ftp the mail file in /etc/mail either. Only happens with some of the user accounts.

When we attempt to retieve mail or get file with ftp

A reboot seems to help which leads me to suspect memory leakage issues in the OS.
